Honestly the one car that get's an emotional response out of me is the R-34. I think it looks so mean and badass. No other car even comes close, not even the Skyline destined for our shores.

Could be wrong, but it looks like a R35. What a beast those things are. If you've never seen a 600hp all wheel drive lauch, I highly recommend it.

Dood, no offense, but the R-35 isn't even out yet. And that is clearly a R-34.

The owner of it is a very cool guy, and turns out he lives near me.

Going to do a Mt. Palomar run with him soon, and hes going to try and bring it to the Mossy car show this sunday at Mossy El Cajon.

Yeah my bad. I was thinking 3rd gen, but I had brain freeze and forgot they started counting at 32.

My family just sold a 96 JDM Skyline with 12,000 miles on it for 23K. Beautiful shape and condition. Of course it's still up to you to get it legal and registered.

I don't know much about the R34. How many HP? What are it's 0-60 and quarter mile times?

I know how you feel lowfuel. I've been figuring my Z will be the badest car in the doctor's parking lot (when I get it that is) and one of the new radiologists goes and buys a damn 911 Turbo!

Curse those guys with no wife and kids and no future college tuitions to pay!

Don't forget about me LowFuel. I live right off the Pala exit, so Palomar is basically my back yard. Hit me up when you go. Got a date in mind?

How was the drive back from TX? I'm past my break-in too.

Personally the R34 to me looks ugly. Just looks like an old tech Japanese coupe. But you wanted some more info so I found it for you:

The R-34 GTR V Spec isn't much quicker than a Z in it's stock form. R&T go 0-60 in 5.2 and 1/4 mile in 13.7 R&T R34 Article

This car's big attraction is it's easily gotten HP increases. Turbo cars are just easy to get more HP out of, but turbo car resale value sucks.

the gtr's claimed hp is well-known to be understated, and yes, the skyline can get some big HP very easily.

About the resale value, that's definately not the case with the skyline.

Hey Bonz, I just found out that one of the surgeons here also bought a Z. He has a Silverstone Performance. And, he actually has it, thought I haven't seen it in the lot yet.

Worst yet.....he's an orthopedic surgeon!

Spankin' time... that R34 will gobble a Z up whole like a fish in an gator's mouth! It's lovely...

I can't wait until the GTR hits our shores. That's my next car 8)
