Haha! I thought I was the only one to worry about my car as much as you guys do! I always park as far away as possible from the entrance. My wife complains all the time. People in the UAE are waaay too lazy to park more than 3 rows from the entrance of a mall. Some good ideas here. I remember license plates I park next to and if I come out and there's a ding in my door you can guarantee you're getting one back. How about removing some of the dings already in the car? any ideas? Might just get the whole car repainted and all the dings fixed at once.

Sometimes I park so far I can finish a cigarette by the time I get to where I have to be. Sometimes I just want to put cones around my car.

I drive a "dependable" Japanese vehicle of which there are approximately 1,50,000 copies in this great nation of ours.
My vehicle is stock and while I would be just as upset with someone dinging a Hyundai Accent as I would a 911 Turbo, I don't go all postal over it. I detest vandalism, but as Oriental philosophy says it is all about priorities. A dent here, a scrape there can be cured. Ain't nothing worth losing my sleep over, so long as the Lord Almighty gives me my health. Love my car, buts it not going to be engraved in to my tombstone.
Peace.

Na eff that ^^ if you dont have same respect for my car as i do for yours when i get out of mine to make sure i dont hit your ****, but you dont do the same and you ding my car your getting your car dropkicked. The last guy who dinged my car got a nike symbol implanted into his fender because he just walked away after he did it even when i said something.

That's great if you don't mind getting YOUR car dinged, but if you ding my car and give me that Jesus sh*t I'm going to leave you naked in the desert.

I can't imagine any better re-action from people with low self esteem and no worldly possessions other than their 350z.
Sigh...

Insult me all you want. My self-esteem is bottomed out and I live in a car.

If I could drive my 3D TV, I'd also park far from everyone else. What's your point? Some people like to take care of their $h1t.

if have been on here for a few years you paid well more than the 10k they're going for now. but whether you make 100k a year and drive a now valued 15k sports car or you're fresh out of school and drive a 15k sports car.. they're still beautiful machines. so yea i dont mind walking 30 extra steps to ensure i dont come out to a dent in my side.

I park it normally. If I park it far away it attracts more attention.

This guy is acting like because we care about our chit we have low esteem lol. I park far because I like my car but other people don't respect another person's things. Just because you don't give a chit about your car it doesn't give you the right to mess with other people.

I can relate so much to this thread...I thought I was the only person who does some of this stuff. Respect my car and I'll respect yours.

Whenever I go to work, I would go over bumps and one floor lower down the basement just to get a parking lot with less cars. Parallel parking is still the best spot.

Sometimes i am forced to do this (old pic):

But whenever I get these types of spots, I celebrate lol
