Miles per full tank of gas?
Yup. I actually go off my MPG for DTE. I know it has a 20 gallon tank , reset my MPG counter every fill up, and calc my DTE that way. It is very accurate. If you are averaging 22MPG , that means you can go 440 miles. I try fill with1 to 2 gallons left. Typically I fill about 17.5 gallons, this means driving with DTE 0 for over 100 miles.
I would cry a river full of tears of joy if I even got 30 MPG. TELL ME YOUR SECRET!!
I do 85% highway driving and I cant seem to pass 24.5. And on top of that the only time I hit that MPG was when I had a ghetto "nissmoe" front lip on.

Climate, conditions and driver input matter a lot. Best I have gotten was up in Colorado Springs area , 75% freeway and averaging 28mpg.
I guess another question to be asked, when we fill up the Z does it actually fill up to capacity of the tank or is the specs just saying the tank is of 20 gallon size, but in reality the amt of gasoline in the tank is probably more like 18-19 gallons?
In virtually every vehicle I've owned for the last 30 years there will be a few gallons in the tank long after the fuel gauge is pegged dead empty.
On the track mine will go from reading half full to dead empty and dte light flashing just from lateral g's. There seems to be no baffling in the oem tank at all.

20 gallon, if you fill up only 17 gallons, that means you still had 3 gallons in it.
my Z is my gas saver car, i have an average of 33mpg, according to my stock gauge. and i usually get on it a couple times every time i drive. imo it gets crazy good mileage. my 05 silverado might get 250 miles per 25 gallon tank. (3 foot tires and a fixed tune)
talk about conservative. the silverado light is still on after putting over 15$ in the tank. it gets about 10mpg city. i know the tank pretty good by now, ive run it dry atleast 10 times, completely dead coasted to the side of the road. the tank is so big it wont even start without 1.5 gallons dumped in.
and dont get me started on my 73' 5.7 litre camaro, my fuel pump/lines weren't feeding fuel, so i taped a 20 ounce water bottle upside-down to my windshield and ran a fuel line to my carb and gravity fed fuel to the engine. at idle,it went thru it in less than 2 minutes.

I just got 490 miles out of my last tank. Took 18.1 gallons to first click and 18.6 before it started spilling out. That equals 27mpg avg. It's annoying how early the light comes on in my car. I drove 40-50 miles after the dte hit --- and apparently I still had 1.5 - gallons left after I topped it up
