Why not both? I assume the supra paid for.

Keep Supra! Rarer, head turner, and iconic.

I love my Z, but if I had a chance to own a car like that, there would be no debate which car I would keep/want.

Lol at Supras being played out.

damn that supra looks like a beast, but I would assume owning an aging car would be a love and hate relationship. It looks like you spent a lot of time and effort getting it to that point aside from the small issues you have with it, paint doesn't look too bad and black is harder to notice. But I think a 350z would be somewhat of a downgrade in my opinion from what you have already so either keep it or trade up to something with more power/prestiege

I thought about buying a Supra before i bought my Zed, but the thought of buying a 20 year old plus car was the clincher in my buying the Zed. OK so the Supra's are rare and have bomb proof motors and are very tunable and now the Ricers can buy a Zed with a loan from pop, but i'd rather have something newer than an an older car that is going to need more and more maintenance and money thrown at it as the years go by.

OT but..
My wife said the same thing back when I almost bought a 1996 6-speed MkIV Supra. This was back in 2007 and the car was immaculate. Car was not his DD so it was cleaner than most new Z's at the time. This Supra had a single HKS turbo and everything else in the engine was HKS too. Car was mildly tuned at 500whp. He wanted $35K and I talked him down to $30K, but I told him I can give him $25K cash on the spot. Needless to say he didn't bite and even his brother told him to sell it to me (I knew his brother from college). I will say driving that Supra was an absolute blast and I wish I had it in my garage today.

Keep the Supra. It's rare and it's a legendary car. Anyone can find a Z, but it's hard as hell to find a MK4 Supra especially a twin turbo one. You own a piece of automotive history. Who cares about it's age, the older it gets the better it is like fine wine. The Z33 will eventually join the legendary ranks of sports cars but that comes with age.

Not even cloe and no comparison of the two cars, Supra wins everyday all day.

Near bulletproof engine, the auto trans isn't very much to brag about power potential wise but, the rest of the car is a no brainer.

Z's are a dime a dozen and it has become the new fisher price my first sports car kind of thing. Everyone that owns one thinks it's a rocket and they're all wrong.

god, please don't do it.

i understand where your coming from with wanting different but honestly even as an automatic...its a supra man. and your not making any real changes, 2 door 2 door 2seater ect. and for an 03 base? i dont think so. plus your car is beautiful, even with the hood. thats what makes it your supra.

supra looks good from the pics...but if you were to trade your supra for a Z it would have to be 07/08 models with the HR motor instead of DE motor...more ponies and a little more refined...so i say keep the supra unless its a 07/08 350z or a NISMO...dont take anything less then that...my .02 cents hope it helped

You trading your Supra for a 350z is like me trading my 2005 ZR 350z for a for drop top Chrysler Sebring LOL!

Bottom line nobody in their right mind would ever trade in a TT Supra for a 350Z

Keep it! Supras have retained their value over the years for a reason. I still see supras being sold for 30-60k You would be a fool to get rid a japanese classic that will be worth 6 figures in the future. my .02 Get some new mods, dust some new vettes on the hwy, and fall in love again.

I would think you would get bored going to a Z from a BPU MKIV. I would part out the car, sell it, and get a 6MT MKIV.

im loyal to my brands. if i were you and i already had a supra i would buy the new toyota ae86 in a heartbeat (aka scion fr-s). its a new, reliable car and the payments are dirt cheap for a new car.
it just looks and feels better.

Just look at it this way. Let's say I have a TT MK4 Supra, even if someone traded me three 350z's for my Supra...I would say NO.

Now you feel me bro???

I just found out... that good condition single turbo 6spd supras go for around $20k USD in Korea. I'm trying to sell mine for $17500, and nobody has even called during the 1 year I've had the car up for sale.

The guy says he can add around $2500 and buy a single turbo supra with good paint job and nothing to fix up. I can tell he's not playing any games, because he doesn't seem interested in the supra any more lol.

Since we're a lot closer to Japan and regulations are a lot more loose here, supras don't hold value like in the US.

I think I will go ahead and trade, but thanks for the advice everyone

if ya want a z, and a change up, just follow your heart. i cant seem to ever 'let go; but this is why i have so many cars and so little money in the bank.
korea may be a different market. here, an 06+ with 60k miles is a 17.5k car. so an 03 with no 'issues' might be good, when they add 2500.

I meant that he can get a singled supra in very good condition for $2500 more, if he didn't trade his Z for my supra

If I were to trade with him, he has made it clear that it would be a straight up trade with no cash involved.

Sounds like the Supra is pretty ragged. I'm not a Supra fan at all, but I wouldn't trade my car for some modded base model '03, that's for sure.

Keep the supra, don't be stupid.
You can pick up a 03 Z in relatively good condition from 9-13K anywhere.
