If you kill the cat then you will have to dispose of them somewhere. Bring them to a shelter and let them put them down.

Hire an ethnic child to sit around your car while you're away and scare them away.

did you really think my suggestion of killing the cat "in the face" was serious or were you trollling?

if its a major problem which apparently it is, put the cover on. takes a few minutes and now you dont have an issue.

welcome to the internet, its a pretty serious place..

some of you may know im prob the most **** person about my cars. i had a cat that was sleeping on my car, but i just let her keep sleeping there because i love animals in general. although she was leaving hair line scratches on my hood, i took her in and she has been the best stray cat ive ever met. for any of you that would harm animals over your car, you have problems. cats usually do it for shade in the summer or heat in the winter. they are just trying to survive.

All joking aside, killing a cat because it is sitting on a car and causing more of an annoyance than anything is uncalled for. Put the car cover on. If you continue to see the cat sitting on your car, spray it with a hose or a water bottle... they'll eventually get the hint.

found hosing down the car late at night and leaving it soaked has helped a little with my cat issue. figured cats dont like water...see prints on fender hood or trunk but looks like they jump right back off cause no trace on the roof. also helps keep the dust/dirt level down for next time i wash...which is about every 2-3 days. my car is white so i dont really notice many water spots next day except for the windows which i wipe down. my cat problem has only been a few weeks so this is my temporary solution till i figure out something else.

Maybe spreading moth ***** around the car? I've heard of that to keep away squirrels and other rodents.

Default the cat

if the cat likes your car just let him have it.
don't give him your car keys.

Well you can use the moth ***** just put them in a container that will leave it unharmful to cats or you can use water bottles of ammonia thats what my dad used to do to keep cats off the jobsite

lol at the peta people. feral cats are a nuisance animal not a domestic pet. you treat them like any other nuisance animal(coyote, feral pigs ect.) and exterminate the problem.

Omg!!!

I almost started a thread on this once.

My cat uses to sleep on my car all the time. Drove me up the wall. I go running and screaming out my front door like a crazy man.

Luckily we joke the cat thinks its a dog. It was easily trained and has not in year+

All I'm gonna say is that the cat has got impeccable taste, out of all of the cars it has to choose from it keeps picking the Z. I just hope its claws haven't damaged your paint.

Why not get a cat nip plant, put it somewhere well away from the cars, and hopefully it spend all it's time sniffing the catnip.

At least you don't have skunks who like to hangout next to your car

Too many times I have been scared off by a family of skunks that like to hangout in my yard!

Just put your car cover on the car, I have one and it only takes a second to take it off/put it on

Clay bar, polish, and wax. Keep the car slippery.

My cat sneaked into the garage and jumped onto my Z's hood once.
Paint was too slippery she slipped right off. Luckily no claw marks.

That was the last time my cat ever tried to get on my car.

It's better to have a cat then having a rat chewing out your ABS sensors.
Had that happen to a friend's car.
