For drag LSD all the way.
I am in a similar situation but I don't drag, I do Auto-X and I am leaning closer to an LSD just because of how much it hurts me when I am racing. For now I am good with the 08 OEM brakes unless a great deal comes along.

Till you hit the track, LSD will help the most

Get the LSD bro, especially if your drag racing, it will help with traction and keep your rear wheels from spinning when you launch, it will also help you with traction on turns on the track

Seems an open-ended question.
Buy for what you need - if you need upgraded brakes then get them.
If racing warrants a Quaife Diff then you'll know not to compromise on brakes.
In which case budget shouldn't be a concern and you'd get both options without second thought.
