Hopefully Not A Goodbye To The Z Community :'(
Were friends with the guy who owns the body shop its at right now and he said bc it only has 18000 miles there going to fix it as long as its just consmetic stuff, if it had 100000 miles or something high it would be a much greater chance of them totaling it, but until the guys comes to fully inspect it i just have to wait
Good luck! Glad you're alright.

Sounds like you really want it fixed, but have you considered you might be better off if it is totalled?
From your photos looks like LOTS of damage, which means lots of time in the shop, and in my experience, cars that are "borderline totalled" that get repaired, never look, or drive, 100%.
As good as any body shop is, it is hard to make repairs and paint look as good as factory, there is also the issue with little **** (electrical, a/c, etc, ALWAYS having issues after that type of extensive repair).
There are lots of nice low mileage Z's out there, maybe consider taking the check (your low mileage should make it a larger amount), and finding a "new" ride?
Brakes to 33770? Just kidding, OP. I hope you turn out all right in this deal. Luckily no one was hurt, and the car can always be fixed or replaced. I deal with this daily in my apartment complex. I come home at 2am every night and always have to keep my eyes peeled for idiots flying around corners.
I'm sure it will be easier to point out that he was at fault by your car having been hit on the side and not in the front.
Take it as far as you can, people like this are the worst, he can't assume his mistake and tries to put the blame on you when clearly, everything points to him being at fault. Instead of apologizing he accuses you of speeding...
I've had a lady almost back into me in a parking lot when I was coasting at like 5 mph pull that statement out of her *** "you were speeding!". Luckily there were like 10 other cars who had seen otherwise and she shut it up quickly when people started yelling at her and how she should be off the road for not knowing how to drive.
Best of luck with your Z!
PS: I would also inquire about the Brembo setup in a case where you sadly have to let her go and the others weren't actually serious. :P

Get it fully and properly inspected. If it were me I would just want insurance to total it.
Cars are seldom the same after accidents like that. Issues can arise later that may not be diagnosed at the time of the incident.
Z's are so cheap these days I would hope for an insurance check and then grab another one.
