Default 35th Anniversary?

Does any one have a 2005 Anniversary edition. I wanted to know what to look for to verify that mine is truly a 35th AE. First of it is White. I have read that that color was not available, so it may have been painted. Is there any special badges or maybe vin # that could verify?

I believe it only came in silver with black and orange seats.

It came with the V2 wheels and I believe the side emblems were gunmetal instead of silver. I know there are more differences but can't remember them off the top of my head.

the one I have has aftermarket wheels. No Brembo Brakes though. Looks like the dealer needs to research a little better.

Sounds like it is not a 35th Anniversary. It came with Brembos.

Is this car yours or are you looking into maybe buying it?

Post pics.

looking to buy it. It is a AT fully loaded with leather seats, nav cruise... all the goodies.
Do you know which model it might be if not the 35th?

upon further review the AT is only available in the Enthusiast, Touring or 35th AE. Just need to find out which one now. Back to the search...

35AE had pretty much everything -- basically the 35AE was a Touring with Brembos, "special" 5-spoke wheels, and *gold* side emblems instead of silver.

Available in all colors for 2005.

Rev up motor. If you're not having oil consumption ring issues it's probably not the Anny model.

AT was available but then you didn't get the more powerful engine, which makes sense since AT is for women...

I would go for it, it doesn't have the rev up motor which was known for oil consumption. It has all the features you want and burnt orange interior. Plus it's clean as hell

I have an Anns Ed it came with tan inserts on black leather seats, brembos, rev-up motor, an emblem between the seats stating which number it was. Mine is the Canadian model.

Were the brakes on the 35th single or dual piston?

Brembos were the same for all years of the Z, hence why I have not switched to them on my HR, since the difference is minimal. Huge upgrade from the DE brakes though, at least that is what I hear.

I believe they came with 2 tone seats and the floor mats should say 35th aniv. Also the side embles should be gloss black with the 06+bumper led tails.

If I remember correctly, the 35th Anniversary model came in Silverstone, Ultra Yellow or Super Black. The Silverstone and the Super Black came with black and tan leather seats and the Ultra Yellow came with Charcoal leather seats. They were available with either 6 spd or automatic. The 6 speed came with the rev up motor and the automatic came with the DE. They had a different color side emblem and did not come with the LED talilights. All of them had the Brembo brakes and the same wheels as the '06+ came with except they were more of a charcoal color.

The biggest giveaway is the badge between the seats as jdm350zTT mentioned, this tells you what number the vehicle is. No badge = no anniversary model.
