The US models did not have the number badge.

<Sigh>
As an owner of a 2005 Track Model, and who looked at the 35AE (I still have my 2005 Nissan 350Z brochure)...you think that I'd know what I'm talking about.

Oh wait, I do.

Only the 6MT (January 2005 intro) have the rev up (35AE-6MT and Track--which only came as a 6MT in 2005--have the rev up engine). The 35AE-5AT were available starting at the beginning of the model year and have the original engine.

That being said, I'm still on my original 2005 Rev Up engine -- and I had my Track model on an autocross course with only just over 200 miles on the odometer (I drove it off the lot with only 3 miles on the car). No real "oil consumption" issues -- so not ALL of the RevUps have had oil consumption/ring issues!

The badge between the seats belongs to the GT4 which I don't think was marketed in the USA.

Hey guys, I appreciate all the replies. I bought it on Friday, and love it. For the guy on post #12 (AT's are for women) I agree except the clutch is not covered under warranty. AT is 100% covered. ++. So if you can't do the work yourself or know someone that would be an expense I would rather not have. That being said, I cant wait to get back in the Z. Always wanted one but could never could afford one until now.

I have the 35th ann edition has Brembos,its the silverstone with black and tan leather,Navi,Heated seats, vsc on/OFF heated mirrors,35th anny floor mats/has the HID lights as well and the body kit with emblems. I have not noticed a badge between the seats and this is the first I am hearing about that. I will have to go look on my lunch break lol.. I have more detailed pics I can post when I get home..

Wanted to add I have the rev up engine and I have no oil burning issues at all !! I am changing my fluids this weekend doing royal purple for tranny and diff. Only issue I have had with the car is in the summer when it gets very hot my clutch will stick at the very end of letting it out. I have researched and found I need to get high temp clutch fluid I think the rbf-600 fluid and stainless steel line. I do have the wine noise on the interstate about 80mph. I heard this might go away after i change fluids I also have clicking noise but also just need add some lube.

Umm... wut?

Learn to drive and you won't have to worry about your clutch, Barbie.
