1st time: a week after i bought it, the guy i bought it from had put green headlight is it which is illegal in my state - i just hadnt got my new HID lights in yet.

2nd time: a month after i got it for doing 66 in a 55 in a turn, i was just playing the awesome handling.

 

3 months... 83 in a 45... didn't get arrested which is a good thing

 

In my G I got pull over on the 3rd day. On my birthday for tints. Cops did't care just wanted to fill their quota.

I should have been pulled over this morning. I went up into triple digits(late for work) and passed a trooper where they usually don't hide. i have no idea why he didn't come after me.

It's ridiculous that the NYC freeway max is 50.

Have not been pulled over yet, had it for about 4-5 months. I did get pulled over tho the last night i had my old car, pushed it to its limit making a right on red and turned out a cop ended up right behind me haha didnt get a ticket tho.

 

Cops LOVE to look at my day-glow Nogaro Red Z, so I've learned to curtail my hooning and leave it for the rare track day. I've never been pulled over since I purchased the car in 2009 (knock on wood). When I owned my previous car, a Mitsubishi Eclipse, I got pulled over less than a week after owning it while tearing down this stretch of backroad through a National Forest. The Ranger was on the side of the road, eating his luch when I went by (probably doing about 80 in a 55 zone). He told me that if he had his radar on, he'd have given me a ticket in a heartbeat, but all he could give me was a warning. I got two more warnings and one ticket in the Eclipse, which I got out of since it was the first ticket I ever got. It was a lot easier to throw that car around compared to the Z. I haven't had a ticket since I got the Z though.

 

About 2.5 years after getting my Z, got pulled over twice in the span of about a month for my window tint, 1 warning, 1 ticket. Then about a year later, got a ticket for rolling a stop at 11:00 at night. Couple months after that I got a warning for 60 in 45. I feel like I'm due for one soon, but my V1 is helping me prolong the inevitable.

There is an 'art' to using speed. You got to know when & where.

 

I make a run for it every time. They haven't caught me yet.

 

6 months than got two tickets within two weeks. Havent had a ticket since, learned to calm down on these public streets

1 month but it was bs. I got pulled over going 13 miles over the speed limit in a 40 because the lane I was in turned into a right turn lane a 1/2 mile up the road. There was a line of cars so I couldn't slow down to merge, so I just sped up to get over and got nailed by a cop on a motorcycle, who by the way was illegally parked on the side walk with his motorcycle. That was a while ago. I got a radar detector right after that and haven't gotten one since.

 

I was pulled over within 7 miles of leaving the dealership....literally drove the car off the lot for 15 minutes and got pulled over. Got a warning since I had just bought the car and I was considerate...

 

Knocking on wood as I type this but Never. Did get a few hateful looks as I drove by few cops. Could have been just there bad nature showing through. I have the need for speed and do my best to not get caught. No risk in life, very little fun!

 

I haven't been pulled over once in the 2.5 years I've owned my Z. Last time I was pulled over was over 8 years ago.

You can still have fun without breaking the rules.

 

 

I've had mine for a year and I'm still waiting for this to happen, although i had a close call last week coming off a roundabout sideways only to see the feds, they much have been preoccupied as the roundabout was quite tall with foliage, they didn't see tire smoke so i was in the clear.

 

You could've just made the right turn and adjusted your route...

 

Let's just say I've never been caught lol. A couple state troopers did pull out after me several times but I either was going too fast for them to catch up or I got off at the closest exit or side street and waited until the heat died down. A couple times I plastidipped my car into an attractive color like red or yellow and just ripped it off as soon as I found a safe hiding spot then merged with traffic like nothing happened.
