When I first bought my 350z people kept telling me that I'm going to get pulled over very often.....6 months later I still haven't gotten pulled over.

So how long did it take for you to get pulled over after buying your Z?

and cool funny stories if you have some of getting pulled over

 

about three years, the stater was in front of me on the highway and pulled over to wait for me to pass by, them caught up with me and asked me for license and registration.
I was doing 70 mph in a 60 mph zone but so was he. gave me a warning - no donation to the city.

 

3 months but it was my fault though

 

I have yet to be...knock on wood.

 

~3 years…I (slightly, on purpose) slid my back end out on a left hand turn in Glenwood Springs, Colorado…Poe Poe saw it and ticketed me for something stupid, talked to the DA, proved the weather was below freezing conditions at the time of the ticket, it was an inclined turn, with a rear wheel driven car and it wasnt excessive. I paid a BS broken headlight fee and was on my way…

been pulled over many after that but never ticketed...

 

Z is my first car. bought it 4 months ago.
got my first ticket ever about 2 weeks ago.
going 70 in a 65. windows up (tinted) Patrol passed me on the side. then was a car length ahead of me......theennnnn as i slowed down to 60...he went to 50 and lit me up hahah.

Tried getting out of it by asking him if he really wanted to be the first person to give me a ticket. and he shook my hand and said "I'd be honored" hahah seemed cool tho.
- Gave me a fix it ticket for my window tint only. Due to the fact that my tailights are tinted (big deal in CA). limo rear glass, no front plate and a 10 inch strip on the windshield hahah

 

twice same day....I was an a$$hole idiot

 

The day i bought mine. Pulled me over because i "looked too young to drive a nice car" :/
This was in 08.

 

2.5 years. Luckily I got a warning instead of trespassing and wreckless driving.

 

8 months after I bought it...55 in a 35, cresting q hill, on other side of hill was a diff city...

 

Took a couple years

 

Tint twice within 6 months; speeding twice in a month like a year and a half later or so. Three if you count the photo radar on the side of the road, I never paid during that 2nd year.

 

Within the first week for running a light. The ticket was like $350

 

3 Days! I traded my wife for a 350z E. I didn't buy my Z to stare at taillights and it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. That's more than my wife ever did

 

Never been pulled over...I also do not have the tendency to drive like an a$$hat lol and my ZX6R gives me the thrill I need.

 

I haven't been pulled over in the 10+ years I have owned my Z. In fact, the last ticket I got was in January, 1973 so it has been a while.

6 years. I didn't come to a complete stop at a stop sign.

 

2 years for me. I didn't come to a complete stop at a stop sign (same as RUNWDVL)

 

never, just got a ticket when the car got totaled lol
