Default What should I do now?

Im new to this forum but not new to the 350z, ive had mine for about a year and have yet to mod it. Until now. Recently i just ordered a JWT Pop Charger and a Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer. But now i am baffled as for what to do now. im not looking to go overboard on spending because im not made of money but dropping 3-5 hundred here and there would be fine, as long as its worth it. Keep in mind it is a 2004 A/T (let the pointing and laughing begin)

please no harsh comments for I am new

thank you for your time

Way out of your range for a while, figure $700 for the kit delivered minimum, $700 to have it properly fitted/installed if you don't have bodywork skills and $700 for paint. Stock body looks great, spend your$$ elsewhere

I agree with terrasmak, get good quality Swaybars. Then get quality intakes, definately true dual exhaust. You have to decide "if" you are planning to go NA or FI! If NA go intake, Exhaust, FD gears, UpRev, after all of your bolt ons are done, then dial it in with UpRev.

Pulleys and resonated test pipes are cheap in your price range.

A wise man once told me that a dollar spent on handling will always have more impact than a dollar spent on horsepower. The DE is a solid engine on its own I say a reputable brand like Whiteline for sway bars and end links would be a great choice.

I agree with the resonated test pipes, but pulleys are not something I'd ever recommend.

The engine was designed to have a certain belt speed and the alternator/powersteering/etc were engineered to run at that speed ratio. Underdriving all of that is an unnecessary gamble for negligent gains.

I decided I want to go NA, so i have a pop charger as it is, should i get a different CAI instead? and then go towards an exhaust?

I had the Stillen gen3 dual long tube intakes and really liked them; they and the Injen long tube intakes are both very popular because so much testing done with them with gains shown. Maybe check those 2 brands out, I don't know if any better than them, but someone here may have recomendations. A stock setup with good drop-in filters is fine and would save a lot of $.

What do you want to do with the car? Just a nice daily driver, occasional AutoX/Track setup, drag, or show/ cruise-ins. Consider that many mods can serve multiple purposes.
Examples: Intake, plenum, exhaust, air diversion panel, all serve for aesthetics & performance.
The factory suspension is nice but as mentioned, swaybars, endlinks, adjustable control arms, and coilovers (though good coilovers start around $2K) will really increase your driving excitment.
My Z gets AutoXed occasionally & I can say that one of the best mods I ever put on my Z was a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 tires. I can takeoff, stop, and corner harder than ever. Infact I had Factory brakes with slotted rotors, and Hawk Pads & once my tires went on I couldn't kick in ABS anymore. Sense then I installed an Akabono BBK and Im good again. Whatever you do, you will enjoy.

My only real recommendation, install all your parts yourself. This gives you a real sense of accomplishment. It also gives you a chance to learn more about your Z. If you ever have a part failure and you installed it once you will know how to handle it.

320hp , you will need FI, or a nasty NA build. Either way, deep pockets are needed.
