When you get to 301 horsepower the G-forces mess with the time continuum. Its a little complicated to explain here.

I also wish that Nissan would put a turbo or 2 in the 350Z and I don't think it would affect sales of the GTR as the GTR is technically miles ahead if the Z and financially miles ahead of the Z, plus if the buyer could afford it he'd go for the GTR over the Z every time.

Depends on the taste of some people. I know if I had GTR money I would get a 911 turbo or an R8 instead even though the gtr is the better performer. Those cars seem like they are more fun to drive, the r8 is better looking and they are more exotic. I don't think a twin turbo Z would cut into GTR sales because you have to remember they had no problem in japan with the 300ZX twin turbo and R33+ R34 GTRs even when they made around the same power being limited at 280 or 287.

You do realize, the number of the Z is reflective of the displacement correct. A 350z has a 3.5L engine, the 370 a 3.7L engine, the 300z a 3.0L engine...etc etc

too bad Nissan never made the 350Z NISMO RS in mass numbers. 300 limited models weren't nearly enough :/ And for those who don't know what the "RS" is, please view:

not even close. I spent all my car money in an effort to get the Sikky Swap. I gotta wait til the end of Sept before I can financially continue. I think I have a shop to put it together for me. I also figured out how to use the OEM ECU wiring, I just needed a flux capacitor (sp)...lol Pretty sure turbo-ing isn't going to be worth the frustration and $$$

Love that car. You can somewhat duplicate it if you have deep enough pockets or actually buy a used one that I doubt anyone would be selling from Japan.

Geesh, I have a 350Z, but 491hp. Guess that means something must have been done to my car... duh.....don't matter what it is, anybody can increase the hp. Nice video. GTR yes a whole new league. But anybody can have hp as long as they do it correctly and safely. Now this made about as much sense as the thread I guess.... Otherwards -

I can't speak for everyone... but I like round numbers for my milestones. 300whp is still twice as much as ive ever had in a car so that's a good staring point. also, there will probably be people to argue this but if you keep going up in HP, your streetability starts to go down slightly. 300-350 is a good point for my DD (and occasional track) Z
