Default Keep the Z or the Titan?

Wife's car died which leaves us with my two vehicles. I use the truck for work, however I no longer have the requirement for a truck at work. I basically drive around and manage residential subdivisions under construction. So I spend most of the day out of my truck or idling using the ac. At most I take a bag with my ipad, tape measure and some other small tools. I don't use the bed as often as I once did.

The truck is more comfortable to sit in all day, but blows through gas. The 350z is cheaper on insurance (go figure) and better on gas. I suppose the Z will never be the practial choice... I love both vehicles for very different reasons. Wife wants to trade one of them in for her new car. Now is the time to get out of the Titan if there ever was one, its vaule decreases every 10k miles now.

04 Z with 105k miles
09 Titan with 108k miles

Anyone here went through a similar situation?

You're asking the people on a Z forum if you should keep your Z or your truck. Of course we all want you to keep the Z!! I think that's what you want also which is why you're asking this audience. I'm sure you'll make the right choice.

Use her old car as a trade in, just put a bandaid on it to get it to the dealer.

Ditch the Z. The minute you get rid of the truck you will find yourself needing a truck.

Keep Z, sell truck. 1. Less mileage. 2. Save loads on gas. You, I'm sure know the difference in gas mileage for driving daily to sites, etc. 3. The Z is of course a better looking vehicle. 4. Pick up a cheap small pickup if you need another truck, one with better gas mileage.

Should have made a poll.

I would keep the Z. For these same reasons:

I doubt you'll EVER find yourself really NEEDING a Z, but it's sure nice to have one.

I understand your reluctance to give up the truck, though. I doubt I'll ever get rid of my '00 Silverado. It's got less than 60K miles on it, so I probably won't last long enough to wear it out.

Yes, yes I think I will keep the z. Every time I get in it I can't help but smile at how enjoyable it is to cruise around in. While in the Titan all I can think about is how much gas I'm wasting and how many items will fly across the cabin when I turn...
