Now that's messed up. Hopefully karma or another rotty catches up with this sack of sh*t.

(only if you own your own driveway)

1. Drill about a 3-4 foot hole with a concrete drill
2. Buy some construction steel bars, and bend it into a U shape, with the legs being equal length.
3. Place U shape rod into the hole with the U loop on the outside and allow the loop to be OVER the floor. ( so you can loop a chain through it).
4. Pour concrete into the hole, while holding the U bar in place.
5. Allow ample dry time.
6. Purchase the best chain you can afford and lock.
7. When done for the day, Run the chain through the chassis of the vehicle and lock it in place.

Been there done this.
You've seriously done this?

Yes, my parents own their house so my dad and I did this system, 2 outside on each side of the parking spots.

Also I gave this idea to a friend of mine in Miami when his shop was broken into and had a car and bunch of parts stolen. By the time the cops came they were gone and the cameras caught jack squat( seems they scoped out the place and planned to avoid the cameras). They broke his door shutters to get in.

He did this mod and kept his clients cars in the shop with chains ( I forget what type of steel) and several months later some idiots tried breaking in, problem was when they tried towing the cars out the chains made the process take ALOT longer, which gave enough time for the cops and my friend to arrive. He actually gave me an idea to countersink the hole where the U rebar goes in, that way the apex of the U sits flush with the floor and people have less of a chance of tripping on it, or catching a exhaust part of a car when its tolled up on the lift.

Sometimes the easiest things are the ones that work the best...

Get one of these or get a shop to make one. You'll protect your car and have a BBQ at the same time. Kill two birds with one stone bro.

I use viper alarm 5901 with motion sensor. I like that the alarm reports back to you. I know whenever someone is close to my car.

The suggestions in this thread are awesome. I keep my car in the garage and then put the minivan right up close to the garage door so you can't lift the door. My car also has a tune and I always leave it in either that 3 mph max mode or don't even turn on mode. If you want to take my car u gotta take a minivan full of crap too, or at least pull it out of the driveway. In addition my bedroom is right above the garage. If I hear some thing down there I am gonna be taking batting practice.

Viper Alarm has been really good. Had it on my Porsche. Even said: "Stand back I'm Alarmed" when somebody came too close. Of course different models.

There is a 5 gallon bucket with rebar crossed through it and a piece of chain buried next to my driveway and filled with cement. It's primary purpose is to secure the boat/jetski trailers that we have there from time to time, but if there's a car there for sale or whatever that won't be moved for a bit, it's chained to the ground. Short of someone cutting through the chain, you aren't gonna get out quickly/easily with whatever I have there

Im not talking about a bike chain here guy. Im talking about thick linked chain, something you cant chew through with a lock cutter....and last I heard most people dont carry oxygen acetylene torch in their cars to cut that...

THIS ^ The chain my friend uses has to be at LEAST and inch in diameter for each link, and I am no metallurgist, but he told me the only way to take that off is to use a torch.
