Damn Thieves...
Also, be careful with the dog, one of my buddy's family is being sued by a guy who tried to break into my buddy's brother's car and he let out the rotty and that guy did not get too far before the dog got him. The guy was lucky the dog wasn't fully grown yet but still is suing for damages.
Steps to avoid getting your car towed to the chop shop, also get the loudest alarm/ deactivator of life and ninja install it.
(only if you own your own driveway)
1. Drill about a 3-4 foot hole with a concrete drill
2. Buy some construction steel bars, and bend it into a U shape, with the legs being equal length.
3. Place U shape rod into the hole with the U loop on the outside and allow the loop to be OVER the floor. ( so you can loop a chain through it).
4. Pour concrete into the hole, while holding the U bar in place.
5. Allow ample dry time.
6. Purchase the best chain you can afford and lock.
7. When done for the day, Run the chain through the chassis of the vehicle and lock it in place.
Been there done this.

Stop putting the f*cking "^" on the wrong side! Gaht Damnit!
Yes, my parents own their house so my dad and I did this system, 2 outside on each side of the parking spots.
Also I gave this idea to a friend of mine in Miami when his shop was broken into and had a car and bunch of parts stolen. By the time the cops came they were gone and the cameras caught jack squat( seems they scoped out the place and planned to avoid the cameras). They broke his door shutters to get in.
He did this mod and kept his clients cars in the shop with chains ( I forget what type of steel) and several months later some idiots tried breaking in, problem was when they tried towing the cars out the chains made the process take ALOT longer, which gave enough time for the cops and my friend to arrive. He actually gave me an idea to countersink the hole where the U rebar goes in, that way the apex of the U sits flush with the floor and people have less of a chance of tripping on it, or catching a exhaust part of a car when its tolled up on the lift.
Sometimes the easiest things are the ones that work the best...

HAHAHa as long as ur in the thread ima keep doing it hahhaha

The suggestions in this thread are awesome. I keep my car in the garage and then put the minivan right up close to the garage door so you can't lift the door. My car also has a tune and I always leave it in either that 3 mph max mode or don't even turn on mode. If you want to take my car u gotta take a minivan full of crap too, or at least pull it out of the driveway. In addition my bedroom is right above the garage. If I hear some thing down there I am gonna be taking batting practice.

sorry to hear. i keep a gun next to me and in my trucks lock box. I've had several unfortunate break ins my lifetime and i keep valuables out of the cars and hopefully the cars themselves in the garage.
There is a 5 gallon bucket with rebar crossed through it and a piece of chain buried next to my driveway and filled with cement. It's primary purpose is to secure the boat/jetski trailers that we have there from time to time, but if there's a car there for sale or whatever that won't be moved for a bit, it's chained to the ground. Short of someone cutting through the chain, you aren't gonna get out quickly/easily with whatever I have there
