Too bad your dog didn't get him. I would love to sic my pit on a would-be thief. My goldendoodle is bigger, but she's afraid of her own farts. Would make for a better news story, though. "Robber Mauled by Goldendoodle; Dies of Embarrassment."

Nice, I need to get a Shotgun too. I use a FN P90 with a few modifications and I have two FN Five-sevens. I never did much research on shotguns so I have a hard time choosing which particular models I like and want.

Yeah that would make for a great headline..I'm gonna start some research on security over the weekend. Unfortunately I don't own any fire arms at the moment. I lost my hunting rifle to Katrina a while back and my other guns I sold to a friend.. Been wanting to get some replacements.

THIS ^ The chain my friend uses has to be at LEAST and inch in diameter for each link, and I am no metallurgist, but he told me the only way to take that off is to use a torch.
I could see this now, kinda made it sound like it was just a regular old chain lol. I was like why you do all dis work fo? lol

To answer OP's question, I would recommend a Viper alarm. There are models where you get two remotes (one with a screen, one without), and the option of either a one-way receiver or two-way (screen always has a two-way). You can set the sensitivity of the alarm (1-15), most models have quite a good range, and there are optional add-ons (tilt sensor, motion sensor, etc.).
