I bought my Z off your mom for sex.

 

Had my Nismo since October 2007 off the showroom floor. (6 years) Before that preordered a Blue '05 Touring, picked up July 2005. (2 years) Before that my '91 300ZX TT since 2001. (4 years) All in all about 12 years. You could say I've been apart of the Z community for a while. It's too bad I never joined this forum when it was the shiznit.

 

Since the beginning of this year. bought it 3 weeks after i sold my gti vr6. both great cars

 

Bought 03 Touring model used June30, 2004.

 

hard to believe i've had mine 10 years and 9 months now. i think that makes me 2nd or 3rd longest in this thread so far. just under 80k miles, and only gets driven to the track now.

 

8 years here!! The z has been through a lot with me!

 

6 ½ hours. Not a bad first post. Will introduce myself properly in the morning.

 

Bought an '04 enthusiast in 2009 with 32k miles on it. It's nearing the end of a built engine + GReddy twins build so I haven't driven it this year. It has roughly 60k on it now.

I bought my 04 on June 26, 2008 with 55k miles.

Straight out of HS, first car I ever bought, worked my *** off to pay for it.

Wouldn't change it for anything.

Bought my 2004 Touring on November 20, 2004, with 16,856 miles. Currently at 96,000.

 

87000 miles and paint is near flawless!



I was close to selling my car because I've been wanting an e92 m3 for the longest and I'm in a situation to put down 60% and finance the rest. So I joined the m3 forums and found a plethora of problems with those engines (bearing issues) and the transmissions. In short, it's not a car you want to own out of warranty. It got me thinking.

My 2007 HR has been so reliable, the engine is so robust and it's all around good car. No car payments since I bought it outright in 2010, insurance is decent and did I mention its been so reliable? HR FTW! The 350z looks a tad outdated now but when done right, they still look amazing. Some people hate the hood scoop but that's actually my favorite cosmetic change I love about the HR compared to previous years. I've closed that chapter (e92 M3) for now and will revisit the idea of that car in a few years. But regardless, I think I'll keep the Z.

 

It's been two awesome years. And I'm hoping for many more.

 

Got my 06 on October 17. Just a little over a month, and couldn't be happier! Ready to get her to the way I want her
