Should i be worried about how the previous owner took care of car?
i am looking at a 2005 350z with 92xxx miles. everything looks clean about it except wheels have some curb rash and the inside door handles look like hell from being scratched. he said all 350s have that problem? is it true? how can i fix that and does anyone have any oem wheels for sale?
Minor defects imo. Yes the interior switch panels do scratch easily. All can be fixed.
Go on the marketplace here and check for wheels. People sell OEMs all the time. Good luck.

As the other have stated the problems you've stated are common with most cars honestly... wheel curbage and scratches at the door handle are completely normal especially for a car that is 8 years old.
Would you give us more specifics about the car? Price? Dealer/Private seller? Clean title? Any aftermarket modifications? Any pictures you have would also help.

Got my Z with curbage and some minor scratches. Buffed out the scratches. and I know a lot of people don't like the Plasti-dip or make lots of money to buy new, but it worked on hiding the curb dings in the wheels. My waterfall had some peels and scratches also. plasti-dip is very close in color for the black interior and made it look like new.

92000 miles and scratches on the car? Run OP, I definitely wouldn't think about buying this thing. He obviously hasn't taken great care of it.
What is he going to try telling you next? The brake pads are getting worn down? The shocks might need to be replaced?
Sounds like a guy trying to get his problem on someone else's hands...
For f!cks sake, a post about scratches...

Haha I know like seriously...
My z has scratches and it only has 50k miles, I realized it's almost ten years old but well taken care of. If I were you I would more worry about trans, engine etc. These cars are bullet proof minus the window motors lol

Scratched handles and curbed wheels can mean the owner probably wasn't very careful with the car
I would really inspect it for any other damage like dented parts or repainted panels and throughly inspect the engine

If it's black inside that's just common. Nissan messed up with the early 350z interior. My scratched just from use and I have half those miles.
Sounds like you're being picky in the wrong places. Test the clutch and trans, and engine.
