Default Lady totaled my Z.. So I upgraded!

I bought an 03 Base Z on 14 Jul 2012 with only 17.3k miles. A little over a month ago, I got into a 4-car accident. A lady driving a Tundra merged into me, so my car bounced off and smashed into 2 more cars. I've only had my Z for exactly 13 months.. Shortly after, my friend hooked me up with a new job which made it possible for me to buy a new Z. I found newer 07 HR Base model Z with 21.5k miles and knew I had to have it. I picked it up on 6 Sep 2013 and couldn't be happier since I've been wanting the HR! (This is a late post since I am busy and just came back from military training) So far I've swapped out the shift **** with my titanium nismo shift ****, switched to the Acura RDX antenna, and currently in progress of changing the rubber pedals to aluminum. My next plan is to get a 15% tint all-around.

Yeah, thankfully no one was injured. I got really depressed about losing the car.. then realized it's much better that I'm ALIVE. Kinda happy those doors are heavy or I might have gotten injured lol

Exactly.

Much easier to repair (or replace) a car than to fix a mangled body.

A few years ago I rolled my Saab 9-3 Viggen off the highway at 70 mph, it rolled and was totalled. I got out with nothing but a sore neck and a big knot on my head where my head had slammed into the drivers side window and cracked it during the roll (yes those old Saabs really were crash-worthy lol).

I crawled out of the car after having to kick one of the doors open, and was standing there dazed saying "damn, my car........" when the first people who stopped ran up to me. The first guy there heard what I was saying and said, "Man look at your car, you are lucky to be alive"

Thank goodness for all the protective elements built into the structure. Enjoy the HR, good find with such low mileage.

That doesn't look anywhere close to a 40mph Tbone.. Im either very impressed by the structure of the z to only wrinkle a couple panels of sheet metal.. or

i saw her coming at the corner of the eye and veered with the impact. hence the spin out through the intersection that hopped the car onto the curb. 40 or not this is what witnesses told the officer on the report.
