Default ALMOST consistent drifting

So, I bought my uncle's 2004 350z from him, and took it out to the track to run a few laps on the skid pad in willow springs raceway... It was very very nice as I got more comfortable with the car, but I ended up getting too comfortable... Here's the vid... It was nice from the beginning, watch after the credits.

Here's the damage haha, thanks, luckily it was only cosmetic damages, I got a thump in the head from my uncle because he owns the drift school, and I got a little over-confident.

Yeah, I was pretty surprised it felt harder than I anticipated, I was able to drift the rest of the day too.

actually, it was fine, I checked everything, things were knocking at first, but everything straightened out perfectly in the end, thanks. I'm getting upgrades done to it as we speak, but I'm not doing anything about the fender right now.

If you plan to keep sliding it...no need to replace any of the cosmetics in my opinion.

* though the car performs well now, check for any cracked parts in you suspension components. Might cause a bit of hell later down the road

Yeah, I don't plan on replacing any cosmetics at the moment. As for realignment, I did a diagnosis, and it was just the tire wear, and ran through the whole integrity of the car and everything just seems fine right now. Thanks for all your input guys, since I may have passed up a few inspections you guys suggested!

Oh and I do have Battle Version Rear Toe Links

haha, I can only imagine at the amount of people that would risk hurting their Z on an empty lot without any experience. I DO plan on competing in the 2014 Top Drift season.

I have an NRG 2.0 Quick Release, paired with an NRG Short Hub. Steering wheel is a Sparco R 345 Steering wheel.

Correct me if im wrong but isnt this considered "power sliding" since no hand brake was involved?

Great video OP, love all the camera angles and quality.

Why do they have those walls though? i really want to take my car drifting but I cant afford crashing into barriers. Anywhere in SoCal where its just an empty parking lot? lol..

Bro, come to Just Drift with us at Willow Springs Raceway, message me and I'll give you my info.... If you are just starting off, you don't have to run the whole course, you can just do donuts, figure eights, or practice your own line away from the barriers, it's pretty nice. I did that because I was already comfortable with everything and I wanted to push myself and start driving the actual course. If you don't want to hit the wall it's IMPOSSIBLE to hit anything, unless you hit the dirt, but it won't hurt at all, Trust me!!! The barriers are there for the safety of the spectators and the pit. And the mini house that I drove around used to be part of the pit, they just expanded the Skid Pad for more room, but they couldn't put down the house. JustDrift.com
