For those of you that may give a crap I've finally traded the Z in. Its been a great 7 years with it and it's been through a lot of transformations. I've met some cool people on here and some real *******s. But either way I'll miss the Z community. Here's some of the last pics I took of the car.

 

And although when I look at the pics it saddens me.....I then look at my 2007 atomic orange Z06 and I smile again

 

Did your insurance go up or stay the same?

 

I bet it was the same or lower. Corvettes are shockingly cheap to insure, when considering their performance envelope.

 

Are you going to totally eff up the Corvette like you did the Z?

If you think 450 hp/tq in a track honed monster is a downgrade you're a confused little child.

 

lol I wasnt even going to acknowledge that comment but thank you sir. My Vette does 11.8 on the track stock but hey to each there own. If that guy thinks it's a downgrade then by all means stay away from it. And for the gentleman that thinks I "effed" my Z up. Sorry it was boosted and a weekend car. Next time I'll ask permission from the forum trolls before I spend my money on my car

My insurance went up by $20 but I got rid of my subaru STI as well so it was a lot less overall for me. But for someone who's giving up one car for another it's about the same.

 

Zo6 is 505 hp.

It's 505 to the crank but about 440-450whp. And thanks man. For right now just a corsa exhaust. Then from there own just bolt ons.......Until the mod bug really bites lol.

I just bought a 2013 Z a few months and got an itch for a Vette. Fantastic performance but the interior is inexcusable, its far worse than a base Z33.

 

It's an amazing car. I see you have a stage 5 GTM kit. How much power are you making?

 

I would enjoy the Z for a while unless you get a great trade in value since you just bought it but its completely up to you

 

My Z had 315 Toyo R888 in the back and 265 v12's in the front. I'm not sure if that's hellaflush or not I dont keep up with the fads on this forum. But if it was it was. Am I going to do it on the vette? Depends. It comes with 325 tires in the back. I'll be putting stickier tires for sure and maybe a little wider.

 

For the price tag its inexcusable for sure. I have a 2lt package. I believe the 3lt comes with pretty much everything wrapped in leather and actually looks pretty good. I do agree though. The 370z has a nice interior, my brother has one. But the 350z interior isn't all that IMO
