There have been a lot of depressing accidents posted on the forums recently. Makes me nervous to even put the key in the ignition! I'll just consider myself lucky that my Z has lasted 3 months now... Keep us updated on repair or replacement Dessidee. Maybe you can get a G37

Yea be thankful man things happen so fast. If the damage isn't too bad maybe it'll be repaired. But honestly I dnt feel too comfortable keeping that car after that. I'll definitly will keep y'all updated.

He said he needs something more practical which I read as needs a back seat. For me 2 seats are plenty practical, but I guess some people have families or like to be DD for their friends. I use my car as an excuse to never be DD

if there is frame damage or any issue with the drive axle there will be some minor misalignment that cannot be corrected. You may get lucky and it may feel like brand new, but it is likely with this strong of an impact that the car will have small misalignment issues. That is the main reason you can buy a car with a salvage title for less than half what it is "worth".

At least you didn't buy a Ferrari or else this impact would have pushed the engine block into your firewall and possibly through your head.

Sup guys quick update. Her insurance company accepted my claim, and are going to take care of everything. Still haven't heard if its going to be totaled or not yet. I'm hoping they don't try and cheap out on replacing it, instead of deeming it as a total. I honestly don't want to risk the car not feeling the same. I'll try and find the best auto repair. Anyone from baton rouge who can give me some suggestions on shops?
