Question Headlight Help!

Hello forum, so I have been searching for a while and I am very confused. I have a 350z 2004 Track that is supposed to have stock HID but it does not. It has the standard halogen 6 pin connector. I am not the original owner so I am not sure if they where changed along the way but to me it looks like they came like this stock.

My problem now is that my headlights need replacing and I would like to upgrade them to the 06+ style headlights. I saw the depo blacked out headlights and I am thinking of buying those since I do not have the money to buy OEM. What do I have to do to make it work? What ballast and igniter can I buy? What exactly do I have to do with the wiring?

Thanks in advance and sorry if my english is bad, not my main language.
(Yes I used google and the search feature, but I need some more explaining on the process before I spend this kind of money)

Could be a Base model with brembos added. Do you have the VDC button under the dash?

Just noticed you're in Puerto Rico. Not sure about Puerto Rico, but the Track models in US/Canada did NOT come with a nismo exhaust...the hood...as far as I know the same hoods were used across the regular 350z models(not sure about Nismo models). This is based on my 2003 Track vs my current 2006 Touring vs a friend's 2004.5 US Base model.

Also...since you're in Puerto Rico...it's possible that the track models there did not come with HIDs...

Well I'm a second hand owner but the guy I bought it from said it was stock and he had not changed anything. HID's here are illegal here unless it is a luxury car and has proyector which the 350z does have.

Fiberglass hood and Nismo exhaust? Your car is most definitely not stock.

You are right I was under the impression that it did come with those things, oh well better for me I guess. Still it does not have HID's and my visibility at night sucks!

03-05 Zs did not come with true projectors...the bulbs are D2R-reflectors, where as 2006+ are D2S for true projectors...I guess it's possible this may not have pass safety requirements in Puerto Rico, and so all models came with halogen headlamps?
