Default Ever regret selling your Z? I almost sold my baby D:

Hey ladies and gentz.

Just want to know if anyone has had some regrets after selling their Z's? Some japanese student almost picked up my baby today. I was thinking of getting a boring 2009 Honda Accord LX for better fuel economy and such. I had the car on craigslist for 8,000. Currently she has 81k miles on an 03 Grand Touring chassi. Fully loaded with everything but the brembos and Navi. But has a 12" expensive sub, Double DIN Navi bluetooth, and a screaming HKS exhaust. Anyways the kid said he would come pick it up at 4 this afternoon. So I was taking my baby z down the boulevard to the local 711 to get some snacks. As I was driving I saw some little boy staring at my car accross the street pointing at me and telling his mom LOOK! That's when it hit me I couldn't sell her :|

So I called the kid back he got angry. He said he would give me 8600 cash after he gets out of class.

I'm in a dilemma :O
Part of me wants to sell the Z since my old lady keeps complaining about it saying at 25 im too old to be driving a teenagers sports car to shut her up. And actually not pay for premium gas and get better mpgs. But at the same time losing that "driving spirit" that just comes with driving the Z.

Has anyone had a situation like this with their beloved Zs?
I have 2 hours to make a decision :O

Keep it.

$8,600 is low for those miles.

Yeah no doubt the 350Z is not a teens sports car. Get her back in the kitchen where she belongs.

Sold my 300zx when I was 19. Regretted it. Bought a new 350z when I was 23. I'm 31 now with no plans to ever sell it. Love every minute I drive it.

Keep the Fairlady, get rid of your old lady.

I had to say sorry and kindly apologize to him for posting the ad on craigslist. Also, I'm probably going to get flamed for this... Part of me didn't want to sell him the car because Mommy and Daddy were buying it for this pampered looking brat.

Fairlady is staying with poppa today. Even after the "weekly" *******s trying to cut me off, getting into freeway chases with other dumbasses, and the daily looks from other drivers I get from my Z.... It's all worth it.

Im actually in a process of selling mine for a 2013 370z but after I cleaned and waxed her yesterday, for some reason I felt like I cant let her go. The dealers been bugging me all day telling me to come down and sign the pappers. Im still debating

25 years old too old for a sports car HAH! wtf
I often meet these people who say "man im getting old man. i want something less ricey, more appropriate for my age" and when I ask them how old they are, they're like "i'm 27" lol
I guess when you're 27 you want to act like you're 40 and when you're 40+ you want what 27 year olds have but can't cause you got kids.
Keep the car, enjoy it until you have kids and have to sell it cause if you think you gotta give up a sports car cause you're too old for it at 25, then that's it. That's the end for you. You're not gonna have a sports car when you're 45 cause you'll be SUPER old for that.

I sold my 03 track back in 09...regretted it, low mileage, mint condition, unmolested.

Picked up my current 06 Touring, going to be swapping Brembos, got the 06+ V2 Rays on lol

Keep the Z.

BTW your Z is a Touring model as the Grand Touring came with Brembos.
