Ok well I really didnt 'just' get it, actually received it on the 27th. Snowed later that night do I didnt really get to take her out. 28th the weather was meh.

But today the roads were cleared of the white stuff (aka kryptonite) so i decided it was time.

All I gotta say is this car is 'the sex'. Turns are butter. Haven't really got to feel the power under there yet as im still getting used to manual - first manual ride, ever. Also still trying to do the break-in. Yeah I know bad decision but I got it pretty good so far.

Only thing that would make me happier is 70 degree weather with clear skies. woot.

 

I can beat ya I just drove home with my new touring roadster (silverstone/burnt orange/18" wheels) (after driving by a friend's place of business, where I received the appropriate "Ooohs" and "Aaaahs") not more than 15 minutes ago.

I am quite excited by it all, this being my first new car (I've driven the same Celica for 14 years) and all.

No doubt I will post pictures soon.

Heck, I'd settle for 50 degree weather with dry roads! I'm in Chicago and it's supposed to be -30 degrees below zero with the windchill tonight.

It's been pretty nasty here in NC recently as well. My car was suppose to be in on Tuesday, but the major snow event we had delayed that.

Before I picked it up, I went and bought a car cover, thinking that it was too dirty/messy outside to drive my car. I was just going to shove it into my driveway and forget about it for a while.

Yeeeeeeeah, riiiiight.

Needless to say my car cover didn't get any use.
