I'm 26 and Geico is ~$60 a month full coverage. I cant remember the exact number off the top of my head.
State Farm, All State and GMAC all wanted ~$300 when i first got quoted 3 years ago. I never understood this.

Full coverage Geico in the State with the highest amount of car accidents and traffic deaths
I pay $129 a month, Im 23, no points, have had every ticket reduced to nothing.
California screwed up something or didnt process some paper and some ticket didnt come off my record, before i got it removed Geico was charging me $170 for full coverage, but that was only for like 4 -5 months, California DMV and court systems are so backed up.

When cross-comparing, it is important to consider coverage limits as well. I have 100/300/100 limits because the state minimum is too low for my comfort. The California state minimums are like 15/30/50. When that Maserati pulled in front of me on the highway and slammed on the brakes a couple months ago. I had two thoughts. First, "Oh crap!." Second, "I wonder if even $100k property is sufficient." You can do $50k in property damage in a single car accident with a BMW 3-series. $15k in bodily harm...that will cover the ambulance ride...maybe. I would recommend the state minimums if you have no property and limited income potential.
Two drivers in Sacramento, Ca. I'm 34 with a clean record. Wife is 29 with a clean record. Three cars. We use Wawanesa. They are old-school on technology. I had to fill out a paper application and mail it in. They beat Progressive by $300/year when I was just insuring the Outback. State Farm was close-ish to the same price as Progressive.
2010 Outback 2.5 with full coverage, 10k miles/year - ~$900/year.
2012 VW GTI with full coverage, 10k miles/year - ~$950/year.
2005 350Z Roadster with full coverage, 5k miles/year - ~$510/year.

LOL for one an ambulance ride is like $1000 tops, two your 100k in insurance would be enough to cover the maserati, its depreciation hit a long long time ago and guaranteed its nowhere near MSRP value anymore

You may think you are saving now but god forbid something happens to your car, you will have to pay out of pocket to fix the repairs.
I have full coverage on my Z and liability on my B13. Insurance already paid off on the Z since I was in an accident last week and the repairs are much more than I would have ever wanted to pay out of pocket.
I have State Farm and highly recommend them, although my opinion might change depending on my premiums after this accident.

You should consider take a defensive driving course......It's only like 2 days, 3 hours per day, and your get a discount on your insurance. It also takes points off your license if that's what ale's ya. I try to tell a lot of new drivers this because it helps in those early stages when insurance costs are high.
Plus isn't 2 days of close time worth saving a couple bucks in the long run?

Also depends on something called "auto insurance credit score" as well, they have a score based upon factors such as lapse of insurance, amount of tickets, license ever been suspended, etc, and they calculate a score and that helps determine your rates as well but this is only for auto insurance, they also have one for renters history, just in case your credit isnt good enough to rent, they use the renters score and paychec stubs to approve you.

Insurance: State Farm
Age: 24
Cost: $100 a month
(no tickets within the last 3 years)
For me the annoying thing was that the other cars I was looking at, subaru WRX, toyota FRS and Audi A4, were all cheaper to insure. You guys wreck your **** too much. And now we all pay for it.

If you or your parents were in the military or Department of Defense, nothing can beat the deal you get with USAA.
