Question Help, Stretched tires on rims?

My 2006 350z has 225/45/18 on the front and 245/45/18 in the back. I ordered rims that are 8.5/18" in the front and 10/18" for the rear. Can the tires be stretched to fit on the rim okay? We already have rolled fenders.

I really would like to keep the tire size the same because of money issues but also because I like the rolled tire look.

Thanks

The wheel is 254 mm wide. The tire is 245 mm wide. Why would this not work?

Simple and easy, and with those specs, still pretty safe

The 18x8.5 inch rims are OEM for the rear of the '08, and there's a stud on the front hub to keep you from installing them on the front of the car.

Any idea why they would do that??

Because Nissan does not want you missing up the OEM wheels.

225 on 8.5" and 245 on 10 are easy. To check whether a certain tire of a certain size fitting on a given wheel width, check the tire manufacturer website. Most of them will have tables showing recommended wheel widths.
