IMO one of the bad things that happened to this site is because of the vendors/shop. They stole people's money, built shity engines, overpriced their shity parts and their fanboys continue with bashing every other shop until we ended up with dead Shop Builds and Product Announcements forums.

Not to mention the prices of the 350z is really low now that the 350z is the new Civic/Mazda3/SRT4.

Only thing I hate is when people say "search"

Heres the thing with that

If you have been on a forum for a long time, and you see + remember certain threads, YOU might know what specific keywords to look for to pull a specific thread or even post. You probably have some threads automatically pop up when you start typing the words in your browser. Noobs don't have that frame of reference. To me it seems more logical to answer a question than to tell someone to search. If it's that common knowledge you should know it and be able to post it. I get the feeling a lot of the search ***** don't really know anything and just like to hear themselves talk

Zs are also lowkey kind of a douchebag macho car so it's no surprise its owners demonstrate that stereotype on the boards (I'm not innocent)

There is def a wealth of info here though if you know what you are looking for. I don't really come here for much else. Very combative board. Needlessly and not even entertainingly so from what I see.

Calling us douchebags isn't the best way to get any help.

Go back to driving an accord.

Haven't been here as most people. I would say high numbers are trolls. That is why we go on a rant.

Imagine how boring it would be if everyone just complemented and agreed to each and every crap we post? It's more fun this way. You really should not take things in here seriously, other than technical advises.

I agree with KingBaby. The aggressiveness in this forum is what keeps douchebaggery in check. I loved reading topics from few years ago when every thread was on fire.

Nonetheless, MY350Z has so much useful info and I learned most of my stuff about modding and fixing up my car properly. My build was inspired by cars from the members in here. So yea, MY350Z is one of the greatest forums I've been in.

Bring back davidv and hravsaeg (hard to spell his name)!

Exactly, take some, give some , sort the BS , get good info. The hard part is figuring out the good info unless you already know the answer.

If people would just answer questions w/o the BS this would not be an issue. And if you already know the answer, why ask the question?

Google is your friend, I dont think there is a single post i have made unless i was asking for opinions on possible setups from experienced people on the track, not what are the best tires, what is the best exhaust, what is the best intake, etc. thats why people get bs because they ask bs questions where the answers are readily available

Pretty much the reason I only come on here when I need to research.

Ill post once in a blue moon, but get too annoyed with the typical Bad *** Z poster.

They should just lock the technical sections. Let people just search

If you can think of a question someone has already answered it and it can be easily searched

If people just stopped to take the time to read our helpful FAQ's and other resources there wouldn't be so much animosity

Heres a secret

Many of the FAQs arent that helpful

Heres another secret... the search isn't that great. I get better hits from Google

The claim that the info is all out there and easy to find just isn't true. If the bad asses here answered questions instead of yelling "SEARCH", maybe THEN the answers would be easier to find.

Says the guy with 66 posts after 6 years

Like I said, find a topic and its been discussed. Unless it's an obscure topic it can be referenced

The FAQ's can be a starting point and even explicitly explain how to research a topic
