Who thinks to themselves "hey, I'm gonna burn a hole in a ball and unlock my car with it."

Someone obviously knew what was in the trunk of that car and I am sure at this point it has been stripped out,

We have actually had a few members get their cars stolen on the forum, some under some really shady circumstances though

Your sound system is all over Craig's list and Ebay... sorry bro, its happened to me. Worth a shot checking swap meets/flee markets for some closure.

I think the UpRev flash disables the NATS system in the car. That may make it "easier" to start the car.

Only if you want it removed.

I need to find this link, I know the car is not easy to steal. I figure it takes a tow truck or a well sorted thief to grab a Z, I also figure a well sorted thief is going after cars that are much more valuable or are more common.

Not sure how they started the Z if they didn't have a key.

Anyone have insight into how this was done? Wanna keep my baby protected.

Hope they recover your brother's car,

Savedbygrace, it’s obvious you don’t have what they call a colorful background or checkered past. Because thieves don’t do such convoluted actions as you are proposing. Thieves have no patience for delayed gratification. They take much simpler more direct route; as in pry open gym locker, steal keys, go out to parking lot steal car. Gyms, large fitness centers, swimming/work-out centers will routinely suffer a rash of these type of break-ins. The most vulnerable are newly opened large community centers with gym, fitness, and swimming faculties. The patrons don’t know each other very well, the staff is new and inexperienced and the place isn’t very organized yet.
