I have 2k to spend on my Z. Not sure what I could or should get. What do you guys think...

I saw in eBay that Godspeed makes a turbo kit for about that much. I also really thought about some sweet coil overs and badass rims and maybe an Exhaust that makes the car sound like a GTR!

Being super serial, if say a LSD if you don't have one, a sts, a pop charger, and test pipes. Then what you got left over nice brake pads and ss brake lines. Any extra some sway bars I guess

I just recently spent $2k over at CZP and bought Tein Basis Coilovers, JWT clutch/flywheel package, stop tech street performance front brake pads, and Hotchkis sway bars. I'm very pleased on how much better the Z handles, installing the clutch and flywheel this weekend.

well whats your situation? I would assume chances are you are still paying on the car take the money and pay it off or down...if your parents paid for it then use it to move out or towards college... you have plenty of years to mod it but if you work at mcds your whole life and don't have your own place and your parents don't help you anymore then owning a 350z would be ridiculous in that situation.

keep saving man, if 2k is all you have and you want to have it sound like a "GTR" or as fast as one your along way away... you can barely find an OK set of rims for 2k let alone a turbo kit for 2k your living in the clouds my man!!! the exhaust is about the only thing touchable or an intake but thats it, unless your goin rice like a 92' honda civic!

Those electric superchargers advertise good hp gains. Buy 10 of them and connect them together = ??? Profit. Don't forget to get a tune with a superchip!

 

All these replies and no one has offered up the biggest HP gain known to the Z community? Stickers, and lots of them to get to your HP goal
