If it rains tomorrow.....
If it rains tomorrow and the remains of the salt get washed away my ZR will leave the garage for the first time in 4 months this weekend. Holy crap I love that car!
I'd have thought that the scientists would by this time have managed to come up with something that would negate the use of salt on our roads, Its the bain of every car owner, especially when its a daily driver.

But after the winter we've had this year, I dont even want to sprinkle it on my steak.
Car washes twice a week on my DD get expensive too.
i love living down south, when i see people posting about it snowing and their car is in storage i laugh as i am washing mine in 70 degree weather. i would hate living up north, i cant handle the cold...
It will be a couple more weeks before I take my car out. There's still lots of salt and snow around and it's snowing right now. I can't wait to move in a couple years. Not sure if I prefer Florida, Arizona or Southern Nevada.
This winter has been a brutal one.
The 11 year old Z is low man on totum pole and only saw garage time to thaw out on a few ocassions over this winter.

Get out and drive them !

I have to get my beater Toyota aligned and balanced almost every year. I'd rather fix my 200 dollar Camry than let my Z33 and my M3 take the punishment. At least the yota will be cheap and easily fixed. That girl has never let me down lol.
Every winter, some of my cars "hibernate" for 5-6 months (some years over 6) and I can understand the expectation for the weather and the road conditions to favorable. Can't say the same thing for my Z as it is the vehicle that my wife drives for this winter for the first time (it was acquired in last early spring).
Should you wonder how a Z would perform in a midwest winter, mine does fine on winter tires. I pondered last year if the larger power output and shorter wheelbase (compared to an E36 M3) would cause edgier handling behavior and such is not the case; according to her it handles just about the same as the M3 in adverse winter conditions.
Back to the topic, here is to early warm weather. I share the same sentiment and an't wait to take my cars out of hibernation.
