How will you get the tow hook in if you ever need to use it?

The grille will attach over the existing grille by plastic ties. I'm going to have a pair of scissor in the car handy....I talked to the company and they used plastic ties on most of their grille...which they claim works the best.

If you have a pix of alternative material it would help. I think this is the only material they use. I co-worker of mine has it on his S2000....it's awesome! Something like this pix. You can see it overlaying the original grille.

I sure do like the way the front end of the s2000 looks with or without the grill.

Any way the grill on the s2000 appears to have some type of black channeling around it. You'll need that too or it's not gonna look very clean. It probably helps to keep it from curling up under air pressure as well. I don't know about plastic ties though, it seems they would stand out like a sore thumb.

I just installed a plastic screen behind my grill. Too many bugs met death on my radiator. I also noticed the area behind the grill is very air tight forcing most of the air through the radiator. There are a few leaks by the air intake where they seam to have put a peice of foam but still has leaks. Also 350z brocure and website show belt driven fan but it has 2 electric ones. I'm thinking of drilling holes on floor pan behind grill to let the water drain out, the pan behind the radiator has hole.

Default Hmm

Gutter mesh is the one thing ive used in the past. Also the stucco grid stuff works GREAT and wont rust.

I have a garage full of the stuff.

Definetly the Black. I don't know about the plastic ties. Thieves carry scissors also.

I think this will look great on the 350Z. I think I might get the silver (when it's available) which should look great with Daytona Blue.

Zoro,

The grill will come with the black channel (u-shape). It will look professional. I'm just a regular Joe working with the manufacturer that's all...since they don't have the Z.

Here's the process:

1. Once I send off the template.
2. They will use this and map it using CAD for the real template.
3. Send it out for laser cutting.
4. Send it to me for fitting.
5. Repeat steps 1-4...if it doesn't fit right.
6. Step 1-4 should take about a month.
7. Then it will be available to the public for under $100.
8. Wish me luck in getting right the first time!
9. NO I do not get pay for doing this.
10. Just wanted this grill so BAD.

Well, I don't think that S2000 looks RICE. I seen it in person for the Grill material and on an S2000, it looks very nice. This is don't professional not Home Made.....I'm just working on the template for them. No I'm not going to put sticker or a huge wing on my car....c'mon I spend 40K on this thing.....whatever goes on it will be nice. Oh I would mind getting the NISMO wing and body kit when it's avail (I'm planning on getting only NISMO stuff when it avail.

Default Front grill

I have to say, I don't particularly like it. I think the stock grill looks great, but I've only had my car a week. Maybe after a few months, It might appeal to me, but not now.

Boomer--you asked.
