Let me ask you a question: You just bought a "Used" car with 77K miles on it did you do any what I call "new car to you" maintenance? I.E. did you have or verify the car has had regular oil changes, coolant flush, Spark plugs changed?
Every time I buy a used car I do all this myself or make sure it has been done by the previous owner.
Before doing any Upgrades to my car (2004 touring non-rev) I made sure it was in proper working order i.e. new tires, spark plugs, oil trans oil, diff oil, coolant, air filter, bushings, thermostat, brakes, rotors, ext. Then I waited TWO years before I posted on this site after reading everything I could.

I dont want a "supercar" I want a quick car stock. And so far I got beaten by an equal price honda civic who is getting better gas mileage than I am and has back seats. Thats why im irritated.

a civic is not your equal. out of my z and civic guess who gets the garage? guess who gets the looks? guess who gets the love?
its a sports car. no one in their right mind would buy one. no practical purpose.

Its not my equal on looks and awesome factor, I agree. But in a race it seems to be my better. Which is depressing to me.

well id assume if its a knock sensor...it listens for knock, or detonation. google detonation, its not a good thing. no if the part thats listening for bad booms isnt working, so it retards timing to be safe.less timing less power..but safer. so im sure a person that knows more will chime in and correct me, tell me how dumb and wrong i am.
