To Mod or Not To Mod is the question.
I have a 2003 with the discontinued Le Mans Sunset colour. All stock. The burnt leather interior seat colour that it has is also discontinued. It is extremely clean and you could eat off the engine. It has 37 000 Kilometres/22 000 miles. It is one of the first 350 sold in North America for that comeback year and I have all the documentation for it. THE QUESTION IS:
Do I put headers and true dual with some beefed up tires or do I leave it stock?
There should be pictures of it somewhere on here.

Well, it sounds like you are sort of worrying about resale. Don't do any permanent modifications, keep all the OEM parts. If you go to sell, get the OEM parts reinstalled properly/professionally.
But as long as she belongs to you, do whatever makes you happy like Emski said.

an 03 with 22k miles way to waste your money and not have any enjoyment, modify and keep all the stock parts, and for the love of god drive the car its meant to be driven not looked at in the garage, these cars are never gona be worth "big money"
Some members have multiple cars and work is close by so the mileage never goes up by much. I have 3 cars that I switch around so my Z only gets about 2-3k miles per year. Multiply that by 3 and it's around the average usage of 1.

^Exactly! Are you protecting your Z from some fun open road/canyon action? I bought my car because i enjoy driving it and evolving it; got plenty still to come in near future and selling it is not even a thought. If you are saving that nice Z from mileage with the thought of a future sale and not having fun with it, mods and enjoying it's potential, then you may as well start the selling process which I'm sure you could get the price that you want out of it. Good luck with it all; sounds like a great '03 but sorry, I don't understand your point.

It took me about 5000 miles in stock form before I got bored as **** of my Z and needed to mod it. You'll most likely discover a brand new excitement for the car if you personalize it a bit.
like everyone else said. do the mods you like but keep stock parts so you can refit to stock if you decide to sell. just be careful of beefy tires that might cause rubbing on rear fenders. probably will need to roll fenders. Cheers

um.. i see orange Zs all the time... still not rare... fact that it came with orange leathers might make it rare, sorry to burst your bubble, Zs are dime a dozen. but hey to the right person the Z could be valuable...
but you know what tho, the Z actually holds its value. bought mine 2 years ago, maybe put about 1k miles on it, and still holds its value. so i wouldnt say its a waste of money.. matter of fact, during the summer, Z prices actually go up.

Cost/rarity/collectability aside, I wouldn't mod your Z. It sounds like you have a seperate car for your daily driver, and as long as your Z remains a fun weekend car that has that special power/handling/style superior to your daily driver than what is the point? Modifying can end up being a costly, time consuming, and sometimes disappointing venture. From your posts it sounds like your best bet is to let the car set as is in pristine mint condition, and enjoy it whenever you have the chance.
