Default Frustration is at an all-time high!

Ok, Ok.

I've just about had it with Nissan.

My delivery date was on Sept. 5th +/- 4 days. No car.

Called Dealer, they have no clue when it's coming.

Called Nissan HDQ, car has been sitting in Newport News for 3 weeks. Why? Waiting for the spoiler to be delivered. Was supposed to be delivered last friday 9/13. Called today, nope no spoilers arrived. When are they coming? No one knows, When will I get my car? No one knows!!!!

Now this delivery date of Sept. 5th was given to my dealer from Nissan, not just some date that the dealer made up. I am livid, ZISME if your around, maybe you can tell me some answers? I didn't mind the car being a couple days late, that would have been ok, but this is just BULLS*%$. Hell they could have FEDEx'ed the freaking spoiler from Japan, and it would have been here by now. I'd even be happy taking the car now without the spoiler and have the dealer install it when it arrives. Is this an option, of course not.

Meanwhile my current car(using for a trade) has 2 balding tires, that will probably blow any day now, of which I'll be in some terrible accident all because I'm waiting for my Z which should have been here a week and a half ago +/- 4 days.

I'm really unhappy with Nissan at this point.

These things happen. Just relax. Your Z will arrive soon.

Nissan is not responsible for your current vehicle woes. Tires don't go bald in a month, it is a progressive process. I know you are upset because you thought you could unload your car without spending the bucks on new tires. This is not Nissan's fault.

It'll get here.

Angry

Vission, I disagree respectfully with ToddLuc (sorry ToddLuc) Let me tell you my story, wait till you hear this @#*!. I have been following the development of the Z for three years. I have a freind whose cousin was a nissan salesman. Although I have an award winning Nissan dealership right up the street, I decided to go with my freind's cousin's dealership which is about 20 miles away just so I could feel like someone would be looking out for my best interests. I wasn't looking for any special treatment I just didn't want to get screwed. I told him a year ago that I had to have this car. I am a lifelong Z fan. He called me on the day before the presale began and I was down there the next day, Jan. 17th or 18th if I remember correctly. About 3 weeks later he was laid off supposedly because of 9/11... whatever. I should have gotten out then, but I didn't I was quiet and patient up to and even beyond the date I was originally given (Aug 15th). I finally called on Aug. 30th I believe, and I was told it would be Sept 3rd, I was shocked by the lack of information that was being passed from Nissan to the dealers. Again Iwaited past the date that had been given me before calling, AGAIN I was given a new date (Sept 7th). I would eventually go through this cycle 2 more times before actually getting my Z. What really made me upset was that in 9 mths. I never got a single call from my dealership or nissan, I always had to be the one to call. I thought I had made it crystal clear to my dealership that I wanted to be notified as soon as my car came in. In the end they didn't even do that. I woke up last Friday and somehow just felt like my car was in that dealership (it had been showing in their inventory on the net for 3 days) so I called and you can imagine my anger when they told me it had come the night before.....W-T-F !!!!!!!!!!!!!! They gave me some crappy story about how it needed a repair and they didn't want to call me until they could deliver a whole car. I had distinctly!!!! told them to call me when my car got in I don't care if one of the 4 wheels was missing at least I would know where it was. They only told me the truth when they knew I was on my way up there to kick some butt which I did in the parking lot for about 15 minutes staight...... You know what? I could go on for an hour but why relive the whole thing. All I can say is Nissan is very lucky that this is a friggin perfect car (see my other thread). By the way back when they were pushing me off every week, they gave me that phony aero-package story too.

Mine has been in Newport News since August 28th as well. It is a Track so I too am waiting for aero package, splashguards, kickplates etc. First was Sept 4th, then Sept, 12th, now they say Sept 20th. Still not listed in inventory though. This Sucks as I am going out of town in two days.

Bonz, do you know if the aero package on the Track model is factory installed or port installed? Your post implies a port install but since it's standard on the Track, I would think it might be put on at the factory.

My Track coming out of Newport News is on a schedule similar to yours. I'm hoping for a delivery this week.
