A question about a product?
Been around for a couple months, never really posted anything. Just on these forums to learn... But I just can't find anything about this certain product because I don't know what it's called or anything about it... My dad just gave it to me.
My father gave this spiral thing with spikes, said it created a vortex or something in my air intake, which will increase performance... Obviously I am extremely skeptical of twisted sheet metal...

I was able to find it through googling "SpiralMax"

I also learned of something called a turbonator whilst trying to learn about this "air razor", is that worth anything? Doubt it, but thought I'd ask.
All I've done with my Z is a new intake manifold, a new tune up (belts and all) a less restrictive exhaust system, 5/16" plenums, quite a few cosmetic changes... And much more but that's all that comes to mind as of right now.

10/10 would scrap that item.
Every review is fake, every forum post is fake, their site is sketchy and they don't have a single published review. Even the idea of it is rediculous, why would you put anything at all in the way of your intake? The point is to get as much clean, cool air into the chamber as possible.
"Turbonator" also appears to be a load of nonsense.
Remember, Z's came out 11-12 years ago. There isn't really anything as far as "unknown/secret mods."
What all interior work have you done? Post some pics sometime!

DO NOT PUT THAT ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR INTAKE!
I forget where but I was just reading a post about some dude that threw something like this on his intake and obviously, because its a cheaply made piece of junk that someone is trying to use to get one over on noobies, it broke but when it did little metal shards broke off of it and got sucked into the engine.
long story short throw that away.

Welcome to the forum.
Agree with everybody above, it'll just be another piece of crap designed to part you from your money, just like the superchargers that are nothing but a fan, or the ebay "chip" from Poland promising an extra 15bhp and proved on a Dyno to do absolutely nothing. You get what you pay for, spend your money on products by reputable manufacturers.
