I always loved the Harlequin VW's but I'm not sure it would work on the Z.

As Runwdvl has said a clay bar works well on this type of residue, especially in nooks and crannies. Although the packaging doesn’t state it, most clay bar kits come with medium grade clay bars. Clay bars are also available in fine and more aggressive grades. If your auto supply dealer stocks them, pick up a coarser grade bar as well. It does a better job of pulling the crap out of the hard to reach places. It’s not really any more abrasive on the paint, but you can always follow up the places where you used it with a swipe from a regular bar.

Curious OP, before you pulled the vinyl off, with the wrap being a different color than stock, how "crappy" did it look that things like the engine bay, door jams, etc, didn't match? I've always assumed it would look terrible but have never actually seen it.

Thanks for the help guys! I just bought a mothers claybar kit. About to go in, I'm sure this will take a few hours. O'well. Here's a pic with it all off

A classier color would have worked better. Stock red is nice too.
