Default could use some help

2003 base 350z, when I put the car in gear (mostly 2nd and 4th) it seems like when I accelerate it skips or leaps. It happens every once in a while but I have no idea what it is. Any ideas?

what exactly do you mean by skips and leaps? like its teleporting forward? might want to check your flux capacitor...

Skips or leaps, exactly what is it that is doing this? Explain a little more in detail.

if it is manual, maybe the clutch is going out. If it is Auto...well u may need to have it checked out by a shop.

1st..3rd...5th....6th.

You don't really need all 6 gears. You can get by with 4. And if you wind out 3rd long enough, you can skip 5th and go directly to 6th. Winning!

sounds like driveline problem. I think you should check you mounts and bushings. Look at transmission mount, engine mounts, and subframe bushings. especially the differential to subframe bushings. Good luck.
