It's impossible to say what's optimal I think. Different tracks and conditions will call for different tires and alignment specs. There isn't one holy grail of setups.

If you take something that has purpose on a racetrack so that you can sit in a parking lot and look cool, you're doing it wrong.

I did notice the other day that generally speaking, a lowered car looks much better. I think it was a Corvette that I saw that had been lowered and really caught my attention more than Corvettes usually do that are stock and more common.

I would figure an optimal car would be one that can be easily adjustable to suit different conditions like you said. By that definition the only optimal Z would be this one http://www.z1motorsports.com/g37_370...oducts_id=5402

It's worse than rice, at least ricers put performance parts on their cars even if it's only to look "cool", their cars would still perform, these idiots are something else all together, everytime I see one of these abominations I want to throw up.

True meaning of the term low N slow cambergang in 20 sec
2nd pic Oni camber, first in Texas.

Are they rice... no. I think it's retarded... far from nice. But my car is stock so my opinion doesn't matter. Stance on br0 form > function fo' life!

Hella camber, cheap exhaust, spoilers that are useless for the car ie: a Daytona superbirds wing on a civic, underglow that's on stock or near stock cars (though I believe underglow is just an acquired taste, like beer, some people like it some dont) are all rice. Though I also believe damn near anything Honda is rice. The car is so cheap 16 yr olds can buy one working part time at McDonald's and still make enough to rice them out. Like has been stated function>form. If its not suited for the car, its rice.

RICE = Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements

Anything that looks like it can be used on or for racing and isn't eing used as such, in my book is "rice"

I'm very lienent with the term RACING too, so from street to formula1

might help some people find a personal definition for them selves...

except being loud.. I like that ****. lol

That much camber ruins traction. Camber is being use in racing so rice.

Being slammed stops you from racing on a street and obviously don't have proper Nhra equipment to race at a track so once again rice.

I don't know, I've seen lots of cambered out cars that I liked, but I wouldn't have one myself. I guess I'm saying I'm not totally against them. And I'm all for the big wings! I AM RICE.

I effin hate all the people that ruin good cars and the cheap people that find crappy cars out here in socal and think that lowering them on stock suspension linkage is "cool" then slap an illest sticker on their car. Its not even rice its just full retard. Maybe they just like buying new tires.

Im assuming everybody has heard that the cops in OC have started cracking down on the cambered/slammed cars... I have been waiting for this for a while. Hopefully it gets rid of this stupid trend
