Tire feathering on 2004
Has anyone with a 2004 noticed the tire feathering? Just before Christmas I had a bit of a shunt with my 2004 ZR. The repair shop thought the suspension might be tweaked so they put the car on the rack to check. The mechanic said that the inside edges of both fronts were feathering slightly due to the camber setting, which is not adjustable. I looked but could not see anything and running my hand along the edge revealed some very slight scalloping of the tread blocks. The car has 2900 miles on it so if it wearing badly it is just starting. I guess I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens.
I'd be interested if any one else is seeing this on the 2004's

Run a search for lots of threads on this topic.
This has been discussed over and over again.
BTW: Like the overwhelming majority of 04 owners I do not have tire feathering

I took delivery of the car on 9-11 and the four digits of the vin are 2869. Does that tell you the build date or is there a placard somewhere on the car to tell?
The reason I posted was that no one else had reported the problem on an '04. I'm hoping this is just a coincidence and not an indicator of a larger problem. My apologies to El Diablo if I wasted your time.

So stop asking about tire feathering on 04 models until, oh, say, August!
