Default I side with the nays

I don't like the look at all .. looks way too "pimpish" -- that's got to be word. Describes it exactly. It's what Mike Tyson would do to his Z....not my style and obviously a lot of others.

But hey no judgements from me. each to his own. The track wheels are the perfect fit and look for the Z IMHO.

Wow, Tex, those would look sweeeet on the Z. Of course, I need my Z before I can get wheels for it, but when it gets here those would be great.
It's OK if some people think their too "pimpish" or "pimp city" We have a large group of diverse people on this site, we cover a large demographic. Personally, though, I think their great.

On the West Coast those would be Gehtto Fabulous!!!!

If you you wanna join the gangsta style rides and pimp your way down the street and tattoo the back of your neck with a triple X: that ride with those wheels would fit right in.

Maybe you could add a bobble head doggie in the back on top of the strut brace?

Glad you like 'em TX, hope you can get 'em one day. They're too flashy for my taste. I really like the Rays that come on the track model, but I think I'm gonna get these one day:

I think they look pretty hot, but these things almost always look even better in person

I think this is the key. I think the car show curcuits tend to homoginize "the look". Everyone wants to win, so they start imitating what has won in the past (to a cetain extent). Chrome always is and always will be the flashiest, and the biggest possible rims seems to be the current trend in show cars, hence the above observation. For the rest of us, different criteria come into play when deciding on what looks good on a car.

I was dissapointed that the Rays didn't have more of a lip for a more agressive look, but the finish is perfect IMHO. The size of the rims for me should be based on performance, not looks, and 18" offers great performance with acceptable ride characteristics. So when I see 20s on a Z my first thought is that someone is going more for looks than performance and that detracts from the desirability for me.

So much for my late night analysis.
