average miles per month?
So I'm trying to keep this car miles as low as possible so when I sell it I can be a g for gangsta. I put about less then 2800 miles in 6 months. Is that considered really good???

I put roughly 1875 miles a month on my car as it's my daily driver and I commute 36 miles round trip. But I didn't buy the car to have it sit in the garage. I bought it because it's fun to drive and I enjoy driving it. That's what these cars are meant for. Sitting in a garage in my opinion is more harmful than driving them. Tires, fluids, bushings, bearings, etc. don't like to be left stagnant for long periods of time. Especially with the ethanol we have in our fuel these days. If you buy a car with the intention of trying to make money off of it when you sell it down the road then you've just made the classic dumb investment. These aren't rare production Ferrari's that go up in value. They are mass produced vehicles that depreciate.

well I don't plan on making money off it. im already spensing money buying parts like lips n spacers etc. I just don't want it to be valued at nothing when I sell it. my z is a 08. I have 57678 miles on my car so far

Sounds like you're already depreciating it with your mods.

I've had my Z for 23 months and put ~20,000 miles on it. So about 870 miles/month.
I'd focus more on keeping it maintained than reducing the miles you drive it.. i.e. changing fluids regularly and replacing any parts that are worn out.
The Z isn't really valuable enough to justify avoiding miles especially if you already have 50k+.. maybe if you had a <1000 mile Nismo....

Its your car, drive it as little or as much as you like. Only you can decide whether that's good or not. As for collector or evventual value like others said, not much use in that. That being said I put about 400 agressive miles a month on mine a month. Its my weekend sunshine play toy. I guess what I am saying is I don't limit how much I drive it just to keep the miles down. I don't do mundane activities in it because the driving experience is dulled if you drive a car every day IMO and its not that good as anything beyond a play toy anyway. That being said I put about 1200 miles a month on the Z coupe I had before selling her. Do what you want to do. Coming on here for a value judgement beyond dollars and cents IMO is a mistake.
