I couldn't agree more. This is similar to how I feel about my Z. I haven't had my 350 for very long, coming up on a year, but my 300 and I have been together for a very long time. She was around when I became legally allowed to drink, the was there through all the bad relationships, and has seen all the other cars come and go while she remains. She is my special lady and I'll live in an empty house before I let her go to someone else. Now the 350 has joined the family. And she has been such a loyal and loving friend. Living in a new city, not knowing anyone or even knowing my way around, having her has been invaluable. She has become a best friend, and When the time comes for me to come home, She is coming with me. I look forward to being able to introduce her to her estranged older sister.

Do not forget to mention the beautiful design of the Z's curves, especially at night whilst passing through a lit up tunnel.

Another reason why I love Sally so much is being able to see her evolve into the image I've always wanted her. Seeing the progression in this build make it hard for me to ever think of letter her go. I've seen so many other Z enthusiast put their own style into their ride. Not everyone has the same flavor, but it shows the passion for the Z.

The 350z is the perfect car for this phase of my life. Single, no kids, and an extra seat for the future bae lol. Never letting her go

The Z, as mentioned, is affordable fun. The "Poor Man's Porsche" is a very true statement. I have considered (and still do) selling the Z to pick up a single daily/fun car such as an Evo X. However, the new job I just got gives me a company car to put personal miles on so I would have a harder time bailing on the Z. I will probably still look for a low mileage PPW Nismo just for the collectability, but even that scares me since I've had my Z from 2010 with 8k miles on it and I just rolled over to 63k.

I have done next to nothing with power upgrades since the 276 rwhp I have is MORE than enough for me to get in and out of trouble with. The handling is great and it will hold it's own in a straight line.

There's always something faster but can I OWN it? Paying off the Z was a GREAT day for me as it's the first car I've ever had the title for (a total of 4 cars in my life) so it's hard to part something that shows what hard work does.

I love the fact that the car seems way more expensive than it is (while I was in Iowa for sure). I pulled into a gas station to gawk at an old guy getting gas in his Ford GT and as I was backing out the group of teens that I thought were taking pictures of his car said "oh you're just gonna take off like that without letting us get a picture?" I was floored.

I love the attention it gets and all the mods I've put on I can say I have made the car my own. Plus, the VQ exhaust note is music to my ears.

As I think of more reasons or responses, I'll post up. But for now, a picture of SuZy as she sits.

Save me some typing...

https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-n...drive-a-z.html

Since that post, made a few changes to the car and added to the stable.

Some new wheels. (Still have the old)

Uhhhh, more new wheels (still have both sets of old).

Switched over to Koni - gave my Bilsteins to my son.

New muff. (Still have OEM and another S-Tune)

Based on the above, one might say I'm a sucker for a deal. That I be. Musical wheels, musical muffs.... (Oh, and that's just for the one car... still more top secret stuff locked in my garage for the other ones.)

Overall character of the car remains the same. Still love my car. Still hit the hills twice a week. Not likely to stop or change.

Now /thread

Sure, I'll sell you the 2k mile S-Tune in the pic for 1k pesos DOWN PMT. (Should I trust you, Trav?) Then, 1k additional pesos a week for 52 weeks. Or discounted 10% for cash up front: $2,808.00 instead of $3,120. on installment.

Hevvinknows how you gonna fit it on your WRONG Z, bruddah. Hahahahahaha.....

Note source. Probably available from your favorite EBay Store, Mic'sChinaInc. "Probably" because now that I've posted it, I'll get the necessary qty 100 pre-orders I need to source 'em.

It is mostly how I feel behind the wheel. Every winter it just sits there and for the past 2 years I start considering other cars to buy, even went to a few dealerships. But then once Spring hits and I give it that nice wash and wax then drive, I immediatly realize that getting rid of this car would be a huge regret.

I can't think of another car at this price range that would keep me in love for almost 6 years of ownership.

That is why I want a Ducati now. I don't want another car.

Cuz it's the Best Duh!

I just recently purchased my 2008 350z. I am an ex Audi owner and I have to say, going from luxury performance to raw performance is quite exhilarating! The gratification when mashing on that pedal with instant torque is incomparable in this price range hands down. Being a mechanic I have driven many cars and these things perform second to none for the price.

That feeling when I let loose on an onramp and the normal light purr of the Z turns into a throaty roar. ...Makes me clap and giggle like a child every time.

I get to drive a lot of cool cars at the track and there are a lot of cars that do one thing or another better than the Z, but nothing in its price range really "covers all the bases" like the Z.

It's just a good all-around sports car.
