if a thief is adament he will steal your car, either by calling his tow buddy, or hotwire or something

best way to keep your car yours is to leave it locked up in your garage

I really dont think that shaving your doorhandles is going to stop someone from stealing your car. Plus, the door handles on the Z are part of its styling. If you took them out, it would detract from the overall styling of the car. To me, the doorhandles pull the look of the car together well, and I also like how the three dimples in the Z logo are transferred onto them. I'd go with the two-way alarm... its works better, more reliable, and you get to beat on the guy that tried to steal your car ... haha J/K.

Actually the original Z-concept door handles were more similar to the G35 coupe (except rotated 90 degrees). The Z-concept's circular indentation matched well with the vertical-metal handle, and the additional space gave it some character. I feel that the concept handles look 100% better than our current 350Z handles.
(I'd post a pic now, but I am damn tired at the moment)

My door handles are shaved. Installing the solenoids next week or two. Been using the remote window down function till then. Could be a hassle for a daily driven car. Depends on what you're willing to put up with in the quest for "originality"

Default wheels

Hey thackattk ,

what size wheels are you using in the front and rear? (width)

I know that the Veilside V3 is a widebody KIT. So just wondering.

Does the solenoid pop the doors open on your car very well? It seems like you would have to grab the door and pull it out a little and up after it opens the door because your door opens different than stock. Just wondering b/c i'm considering this myself.

the shaved handles are sick. I hate the door handles, there big and dumb, why couldn't they put normal handles like the G35 has. Maybe I will shave mine off. How much did that cost.

I would rather avoid that and shave it. But I hear y'all on how unreliable it is, so I'm probably not gonna go that route.
DON'T USE A SHOTGUN! Don't you have any regard for your Z? lol.

You might hit it while putting a cap in that ****. Definitely need a pistol or sniper rifle and shoot off limbs....

Yep... been there, done that. Decided I didn't like it as much without the handles. Though, it does make a difference whether the car is light or dark color.

Here are a pair of pics of the Brick. First sans door handles...

I would imagine that in most states, you would not pass the safety inspection without door handles. I know this is the case in VA.
