Hello Folks!
I am a new Z owner and new to this forum though i have been reading it daily for the past month. I have enjoyed corresponding with a few of you (everyone is very helpful!) and look forward to making new friends. I especially enjoy the fact that Z owners wave to each other on the road. . .if only people would do that regardless of their symbient bond over a particular car.

Well I'd been wanting a Z for two years now and finally was able to make it happen, what a privelege it's been. better still is that i'd been sketching this super black in photoshop with everything blacked out and finally i'm getting to realize it in person! that is, ALL emblems are being painted to match body paint, rear 350z emblem removed, rear lights smoked, sidemarkers smoked, doorhandles painted black, tint, tailpipes painted black. I just wanted to take the black/gold/no chrome look all the way.

I havent done any modifications to the interior.

was wondering what you all think?

everything looks nice except the muffler tips being black. but other than that, i like. expecially the taillights.

 

Sorry for the multiple posts, just wanted to mention I think i'd like to go with the clearcorners blackout headlamps in the future to complete the look. what do you think, would that be overkill?

yeah, the chrome exhaust tips looked really nice but i just couldnt have ANY chrome AT ALL compete with the bronze wheels. Just a personal preference for the exterior i wanted to take all the way. It was paint them black or the other option was to get the tips anodized bronze to match. but in keeping with the stealth bulldog look, the black tips look pretty purposeful and discreet in person.

 

nice. add some carbon fiber goodies like hood, wing, and lip. then it will be killer. the carbon fiber will keep with the black theme.

what do you folks think of the kaminari hood with ram air scoop on my car? originally wanted it due to it's organic form factor but many have told me not to overdo it. . .

 

i think it looks really good, except i'm not quite sure about the black tips. i'd like to see more pics of the front if at all possible

 

I think kaminari is kind of played out. Best go with something original, like the top secret hood or the cwest hood. go to inetnsepower.com and check out the kits. Other than that he car is off the chain!!

 

Looks good. Those taillight are pretty dark!

not a fan of bronze ares???? prbabl for the same reasons i got the silver nismos over the bronze?

 

Very nicely done! Love that black out look! Now, it'll be nice to finish it off with an Evo-R Type-S carbon fiber spoiler.

Still on that tip?!! To make matters worse, I'm keeping my TE's...I think a set of 17" 5Zigen FN01RC's are on the way for track use.

 

YEAH! that looks GREAT especally the black exhaust & tips.

The blackheadlights would be AWESOME on there!

...and come on, you need some all black wheels on there!

 

thats crazy! This reminds me of Knight Rider. I think it will look cool. May I suggest getting rid of the amber strips in the front and powercoating the rims matte black. ( the non reflective black)


I was just wondering what is the color of your interior. If it is black as well some interior CF will look nice! Like the center console,guages, interior side door handles and the bottom of the door where we have the "Z" emblem.

IMO i wouldnt get the CF hood. I think it will break up the flow of the car. If youre going to get an aftermarket hood I would get it in the superblack color. It seems to go with the theme of the exterior. I would save the CF for the interior.

 

That looks smooth! Ares has bronze wheels, I think thats why he doesnt want him to have them. I wonder how insurance would handle those taillights?
