Default window deactivation

I was just wondering if there is a way to deactivate the automatic down and up feature when you open and close the doors. Any info appreciated. Thanks, Bob

I heard that its impossible to unscrew those screws or something to that effect. Don't they have a locking mechanism to where once put in they won't come off. I forgot what I heard from the shop where I got my windows tinted but those screws on Zs are not to be messed with. - Now this is heresay and therfore I am not saying that luckistryke is wrong, I am simply stating what I heard and was wondering if this is true.

I just want to get this straight. The switch has a phillips head screw on the bottom and a rubber button on top. If the rubber button is held in, the window function won't work? Does anyone else find this to be a pain? Maybe I should leave well enough alone. My luck, I'll tape that button in and nothing will work.

What are you trying to do? if you disable that function, opening and closing your door will eventually cause window/moulding damage. If it's a temporary fix, lucki is right.

Other than tinting the windows, I don't know what disabling this feature would do.
