What are some good things to upgrade on my new 06 nissan 350z?
I just got a 2006 Nissan 350z. I'm looking to start on some small upgrades first, then move to higher performance upgrades.
What are a few cheap things i can do to my car to make the appearance look better or the interior a little cooler. With a price budget of $200.
And what would be the best thing to upgrade first on my car to get the most horsepower in my car for under 500?

Seriously, $200 won't get you anything nice. And $500 would be better spent on a weekend of driving on a road course with a driving instructor. That would be how I'd spend it.
Save your money and enjoy the car for now. The VQ is a great platform as is. If you are going to spend money on upgrades, do yourself a favor and save up for quality parts so you won't regret it down the road.
Not looking for any price ranges, but what are the first steps to slamming my 350z. What are some cool ideas that are best to start with when upgrading my 350?

Listen to these guys.
Look, I'm sure you're excited and all and think you've got to go out and upgrade this and that because that's what you see everyone doing, you don't.
As a matter of fact, until you can drive this car at it's limit on a race track in stock form, which is hard to do, there is no reason to upgrade anything.
$200 won't replace most OEM interior pieces.
$500 won't see any gains either IMO.
Save up for F/R sway bars, shocks and springs, right now you need to worry about maintenance and learning to appreciate this car.

In this case to avoid the inevitable train wreck I sense approaching.
But OK, OP, first thing you need to do is explain WHY you want to "slam" it and why you think that's good.... besides being "cool".
Next, tell the forum WHAT you want out of the car. Then maybe you'll get some real answers.

Here's a good place to start get the Jim Wolf pop-charger for about 179.00 makes a good inexpensive upgrade which will actually be worth the money makes for a good first mod otherwise, I totally agree with what everyone else have be saying enjoy what you got for the mean while and definitely wait until you can buy some quality upgrades and take you time and do the necessary research before you spend a dime! http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/cus...asp?PartID=350
