2nd gear tire spin

2nd gear tire spin
When I shift at high Rpms to second gear I loose traction it spin out what can I do to prevent this and is this common with 350z?

Don't push the pedal all the way down in 2nd? Its not Gran turismo you dont need to hold down the X button.

Doesn't sound common to me at all.. Might want to bring the car in to get checked out, shouldn't be spinning out on a fwd car.
