If I have an ******* on my tail and no passenger in my car, I'm simply slaming on the brakes and he begin to keep the distance right away. It's works quite well every time. And yes, I have a wide P Zero's, and sometimes I feel my ears clogged under hard braking. And I would disagree with a previous post about "Brembo calipers meen nothing". As bigger pad you have, as more surface engaged and its meen more stopping power. Good tires is must have, its true.
and learn how to spell
I'm that guy as well. I'll usually keep about 3-4 car lengths in front of me. I'd rather lose a few minutes from people passing/getting over in front of me, than to be in a situation that could potentially ruin my car.
Yeah, dude, if you'll talegate me I gonna slam on the brakes and it's will be only your fault, because you didn't keep the distance.

Car accidents occur in a variety of ways. From fender benders, to high-speed head-on collisions, the scenarios are almost endless. A common type of collision is when one car rear-ends another. There is a pretty well-known presumption that rear-end car accidents are always the fault of the driver who rear ended the car in front. This is not always the case. The purpose of this article is to describe why, and under what circumstances, the driver of the vehicle that rear ends another vehicle may not always be at fault.
in case you didnt like that site

The front driver may be at fault
In many instances, a rear-end collision happens because the driver in front suddenly braked. Generally, the rear driver should be following at a safe enough distance to stop in time, however, at high speeds, suddenly slamming on your brakes can be negligent behavior. Additionally, if the front driver had burned-out brake lights, the rear driver would have no indication that the front driver was slowing down or stopping. In such situations, the front driver may be held liable.

I will not hide that I enjoying your buthurt, but again, if you'll tailgate me, and after hard braking you'll finish your trip in my rear bumper, you will never, never never prove that I did it to tich you, and not because of obstacle/animal or car in front of me. When cops will come, you'll be an aggressive driver, who created a dangerous situation that lead to the accident and injured innocent driver(me). Than you'll work for live to pay me for my neck pain. Just don't do this, it's stupid, dangerous, and making mad everyone.

The Supreme Court opinion said Birge was driving 35 mph and slammed on his brakes “for no objective reason,” surprising other people on the road. “Significantly, this court has never held that the rear-end presumption bars a claim for damages of a rear driver or others in the rearward zone of danger where there is evidence from which a jury could conclude that the front driver defendant was negligent and comparatively at fault in causing the collision,” said the opinion, which was written by Justice Jorge Labarga. The other justices concurred in the decision, though Justice James E.C. Perry was recused.
i am far from butthurt, just stating the facts. try me buffalo lips, ask me how i know this. i did rear end someone who slammed on their brakes on the hwy during free flowing traffic. he slammed on them so hard i completely missed the bumper, he claimed neck and back injuries, didn't work for a year, sued me blah blah
I'm sure that cool story is just another ********.

What are you trying to prove me? That tailgating is OK and you don't need to take a distance?
And last thing: you are lucky that you in US. In my country, I or anybody around, would just stop you and tich you manners as a man. We don't call the cops. Take care.

And some folks get me really wrong. I'm a very respectful driver, with many many years of driving experience. I got a CDL class A license and I'm not looking forward to mess it up, trust me. But everyday, I need to deal with a dumbs who think they are immortal and have some priority on the road. Only thing I said, was that it's very bad idea to sit on somebody's tail, because you never know what can happen. If some Cor***ge drivers think that it's fine to risk their own lives, it doesn't meen that people around think that way too.
I'll accept it as a compliment. Of course it's not my language. I thought it's more than obviously.
