Default 2 quick questions

Is the suspension the same for all Z models? I have read on edmunds and in motortrend that the ride is much stiffer with the track version over the touring. Since they both ride on 18" wheels they must be referring to the shocks and springs.

Second, I am upgrading from stock 17s to performance model 18s, I noticed the offset is different, will this cause a problem? And does the different wheel and tire size cause a variation in the speedometer? Thanks

suspension changes took place between the 2003 and 2004 model years... for the same model year, there is no diffeence between the suspension from track and non-track models... any difference in ride quality would likley be the result of the tires/rims (e.g. 17's, 18's and 18's rays - with 17's yielding the softest ride)
